Breitling E17370 wrist watches news:
Hi guys,I've been on the hunt for a Longines Master (used), and this one just popped-up on eBay:eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low pricesAssuming I can look past the fact the watch is in China and the user has very little history (I know, I know - you're rolling your eyes and mumbling "moron"), I'm most troubled by the "2" in "2" and "12". It doesn't have the same swirl as what Longines has in their catalog:L2.518.4.78.6 - The Longines Master Collection - Watchmaking Tradition - Watches - Longines Swiss Watchmakers since 1832I know counterfeit watches and boxes are a dime a dozen, but did this guy fake the receipt from Prince Jewellery as well (which does exist and is a retailer of many high-end watch brands).Regardless of if it's a fake or not, does Longines use different dials on the same model number? Thanks.
OMG! Did Charlie Sheen really lose his 5970???The 5970 is a grail that I'll never be able to afford, so it's just hard for me to imagine someone losing one.
Hey guys !The Illinois folks don't have the market cornered on the Illinois Watch Case Company Octagon shaped cases any longer ! ! !It's not an Illinois Admiral Evans but an Elgin Octagon RED 12.I have been seriously hunting for one of these for at least 4 years now and I FINALLY got my hands on one a few days ago.It is a very common misconception that this Octagon case is exclusive for Illinois movements for the watch called the Admiral Evans. This case was available for Elgin, Waltham, Illinois and some Swiss movements but it is most commonly seen with an Illinois movement. This case had a couple of variations such as swivel lugs or regular fixed lugs and it was available in sterling silver, gold filled and 14k solid gold, some even had offset crowns. In my opinion the swivel lug versions are much more desirable! When I bought the watch a few days ago I knew that somebody had made a movement change, it had an incorrect 1925 Elgin size 3/0s installed with 7 jewels. So, I decided to put it
I'm currently sick as a dog with flu and my brain is in shut-down mode so any attempts at artistic images are not going to happen for a good few days. I do know that many of you like more simple images, however; ones that just show the watch exactly as it is, "in the raw", so to speak. Being as that's all I can manage you may have your wish!! I have to say I got lucky with this strap. Others may prefer a brown stitched strap of some description but for me, on a chronograph with a relatively complex and busy dial the less detail on the strap the better. In 2009 my friend, Shane Delaurian, made me this superb strap but the watch I bought it for was sold quite quickly after I received it so it was basically unworn. Just for once I was smart enough to keep it and boy am I glad I did because for me it works brilliantly with the chunky case of the Autavia GMT. Knowing me, it will probably spend most of it's life on the bracelet, as I've been lucky enough to source a correct NOS one which wi
