My"newest" Hamilton
Earlier this year my grandfather passed away, and while going through his belongings my mom and aunt found two pocket watches. Knowing how much I love Hamilton, my mom took this one for me and my aunt took the other. She got it cleaned for me and it now runs pretty good (seems to lose a few minutes per day). I know nothing about pocket watches, but it's cool to have a Hamilton. This thing is pretty thick, and quite heavy!My mom and aunt are not sure who it originally belonged to, but they think it must have been a relative, perhaps my great-grandfather. My grandfather was born in 1917, so he came of age with wristwatches (I have a 1939 photo of him and my grandmother where he is wearing some kind of gold wristwatch on leather strap). Anyhow, the watch is in overall great shape for being more than a century old. I have my eye on the offshore series APs these days, and am contemplating jump into the deep end here with finding a mint second hand one. How do these compare to my DSSD? My DSSD is literary keeping +5 seconds time after about 3 months, which is the best time I have seen from the last 7 high end watch I have owned. I am fearing buyers remorse, not from a quality perspective as the APs are one of the most elite, however from a time keeping perspective. I like. My watches to keep very accurate and reliable time, and not just a Picasso on the wrist.Help me here y'all!Stay or go?

The more I explore, the more I like Omega. I had no intention of buying anything today. I went in to pick up a strap. Got the strap for my AT. And it's awesome. Should not have tried these on. Got one for me, one for my wife. Going to sell off another to even things out, but such is life.

AD requested to cancel deposit paid?
I hv paid a deposit to an AD for a hulk which now they have been asking me to cancel the booking due to they don’t know when they will get one in. Is it legally they can do so? Or they have to deliver if I disagree to it if I don’t mind the wait?Anyone has encounter this before ? I assume it is a valid contract they must deliver. They offered to put a deposit and I accepted it.
