Breitling A4436512/B873 wrist watches news:
You know, that soft material with which you polish your much-loved Omegas.Which types do you use pals?I know there's been a lot of talk about Cape Cod cloths over the years but I've never used one. What do you dry your watches with after they've had their TLC wash? You won't believe what I use but it works for me. Indeed I mentioned it to a friend and he's using it too - the side of a clean shirt which I keep solely for this purpose. With this I take off all the moisture after rinsing my watch. It's lint-free, soft and very absorbent. Then I use Goddard's polishing cloth for silver and jewelery. How about you pals? What do you use to bring out the shine in your Omegas?Y'all enjoy your Sunday now ZIN
So reading John's reviews of the 116613 it got me thinking of the Yacht-Master. And, since we're just 3 months away form Baselworld 2010, I thought it's a good time to start thinking about what we'll see.Specifically, what do you think is in store for the Yacht-Master line? Throughout the model revamps, the Yacht-Master has stayed unchanged. I think the only other professional model to stay untouched since 2000 is the Explorer II (but I don't follow the Explorer, so I could be wrong). But the Yacht-Master has received no upgrades that I'm aware of. I'd thought they'd have released a new 18k version in '09 with new bracelet & clasp at least, but it's been untouched. As we drawn to the end of Rolex's stated "10 year model refresh" one has to wonder what's in store for it. Will it be the lone survivor with the stamped metal clasp & hollow gold center links, going unchanged? Will it quietly only get a new bracelet (for the gold & TT) & new clasp since it already has
Hi all,Further to my earlier thread I have managed to try on a Royal Oak Chrono with white dial. Which was amazing! Seriously tempted.I haven't managed to see a black dial in person, and am wondering if I need to do this before making a decision.I have seen and worn a 15400 in black and white, and prefer black in 15400 but seem to prefer white in 26320.I am sure the black vs white for this model has been done many a time before, but I'd be keen to hear any thoughts and see any pictures!
I know this is the Rolex forum, but wanted to get an opinion from Rolex owners regarding this watch. I'm familiar with the history and clearly its a classic design. It's one of the best watches I've seen on a leather strap or a NATO. I tried one on recently and it really didn't sing to me like how it does when I see it in photos. It could have been the Omega bracelet, which I'm not a fan of or maybe because I started off with Rolex I'm a bit bias. What's the opinion from owners, how does this guy work in your collection?
Whenever I wear this watch I love how the dial always gets me. Just thought I should share.
