Ulysse Nardin 236-49/581 wrist watches news:
Watch?brands spent almost half a billion dollars on advertising in the U.S in 2013. The total was $492.68 million: a record high, and up 23.3 percent from the 2012 total. That figure comes from Kantar Media, which each year compiles estimates of ad spending for a range of different products. The figures for 2013 signal that the U.S. watch market is still growing, especially as Swiss luxury brands turn their sights back from China to this country.Last year was the fourth year in a row of growth in U.S. watch advertising. Sixty-nine brands spent more than $1 million on ads, a new record. To reach last year¡¯s top 25, a watch company had to spend $4.66 million. That¡¯s 28 percent more than it took to make the list in 2012.?Rolex continued to hold its spot at the top of the list. The brand has been number one since 2000, when it dethroned Timex. Last year, it spent $61.48 million, making it the first brand ever to exceed $60 million. Rolex beat its 2012 record of $52.14 million by 17.9 perce
That is the question being asked due to the rise of the Euro plus Panerai's history of annual and semi-annual price increases.Rolex's had a price increase last week...AP had an increase last monthAnd today with the $ at $1.525 against the Euro, the increase seems inevitable.Any thoughts on this?
I cannot seems to find the colour options of strap for the 5146G.Pardon me, but I am new here and just got my 5146G in WG and trying to see other options available in the Patek original strap that can replace the original. I have though of keeping the original and using another colour option. Unfortunately after trawling the entire www, i cannot find any weblink to see available colours.Another others with straps already changed and photo to show. Or who can link me to a url with all the colour options? Thanks in advance
Hello all,I am new to this forum as well as the world watches. A brief introduction of myself - I am a recent college graduate currently working in healthcare in a non-clinical department office setting. The first watch I ever owned was a Tag Heuer Series 6000, I don't remember the model offhand but it had a green face with a stainless steel case/bracelet with gold accent. I purchased it from someone at work for $350. It was definitely legit, had all the papers, etc.. I kept it for several months, got impatient and sold it for $550 on eBay. A part of me has regretted that decision since I really loved how it fit. With the money I made from that, I bought another watch of which I can't say because it would be an embarrassment to these forums. Anyway, that watch barely lasted a month before I dropped it and it broke. I am now watchless. A little more about me - I am a tall guy standing at 6 foot 8 and the Tag resembled a woman's watch on my wrist, hence another reason why I sold it.So no
My blue 5711 is delayed. Told by AD supposed to arrive this month but has been pushed back to next shipment whichever date that is.Probably not a fair comparison price wise but the 5110p in the other (mps354) thread looks really beautiful and the 5110p and 5130p is more readily available (used & new) which got me thinking hmmm.If price is not a factor which one would you choose and why? The watch is going to be used daily in mainly smart casual settings (no sports).
