Breitling b71340LA/c779-tt wrist watches news:
Hi,just joined the forum and so far it has been well worth the trip.Hope you guys are doing well.I have many breitlings, but my next watch is set to be an omega seamaster planet ocean with the orange bezel.I am not sure about which one to go for though??????Should i go chrono (great looking watch) or non chrono (again great looking watch just alot cheaper)All opinions gratefully received,Thanks,Andrew
Hello,I recently learned that in my boyfriend's culture (Korean), it is expected that the woman buy the man a watch after getting engaged. I think we are heading down that path in the coming year, so I need to start researching and saving up. Frankly, I'd rather pay for a kickass honeymoon...but I don't want insult his family by upsetting tradition. Here's the rub: He is already a watch collector and has a collection of watches WAY more expensive than I can afford. I don't know exact models, but I know he has an A.P. Royal Oak, a Rolex or two, and several Pateks. So, I need some ideas of something that is nice, unique, but not going to make me bankrupt myself! General budget is ~$5000. He's also a design/quality snob, so something with parts made in China is not going to impress. I mentioned something about Shinola thinking it's unique and American-made and he scoffed, so that's out.I would welcome any suggestions that you have!
I'm interested in buying my first watch box. I currently have only four watches but I plan on buying a few more after the holidays, so a box that holds 10 is ideal. Can any of you recommend a box manufacturer? I saw some affordable Tech Swiss boxes on Amazon but I wasn't sure how durable they are.
I am looking to buy my father-in-law a watch as a gift. Back in the 70's he had a Seiko Diver (he thinks it was a Seiko) that was stolen from him while at work, and he has mentioned this watch several times. I thought it would be a cool gift to get him another watch like it. He's not a WIS. I thought about getting him a Seiko Auto Diver, but I think he might be better suited for a Eco-Drive. No moving parts to worry about, no battery to worry about either. He is pretty rough on watches (as well as just about everything else). His current watch is a Department Store Iron Man or Armitron, digital quartz.Budget is around $150-200. I think he might like an analog watch, but if it was duel Analog/Digital, might be the best of both worlds. There are so many watches out there, it's overload! Any suggestions?
Should I trade my Patek Philippe Nautilus 5711 for the new Rolex Daytona? I don't seem to wear my Patek much but I am afraid I may miss it. I am just wondering which piece is more sought after ?
