While there is still some question as to how successful the smartwatch segment will be, that hasn't stopped brands (mostly newer) from pushing innovation to get new models out on the market. Today's example has technical chops paired with design from a watch brand.The watch, of course, is the Agent Smartwatch by Secret Labs. Interestingly, this company isn't a startup - they're an established company, albeit in the arena of fabricated electronics (including an arduino alternative). What this means for us is that they know how to put the internals of the watch together in a way that will give the watch power and flexibility, as well as some pretty nice battery life. Additionally, since they've already invested their main business in Microsoft-based development tools, that means they'll have an app development suite that will be familiar to a broad range of programmers. No, this is not an incoming thread. Not so long ago, I tried to add a 2nd PP ( ie Nautilus ) to my collection. I have kind of decided it should be gold. Here's the thread.rolexforums/showthread.php?t=375588I recall during the previous tryouts, I was so smitten by this, even more so then the 5980R which is too top-heavy for me. Thought it was just a temporary infatuation but it hasn't gone away. To me, this is THE Ultimate Nautilus. ( not my pic )As usual, I did a quick analysis of plus and minusPlus1) It's a PP Nautilus! 2) The wrist presence is second to none. It just blows everything including other Nautilus out of the water3) It's heavy but balance meaning it is not top-heavy as the bracelet support the weightMinus1) The price 2) Too shouty? Bling? 3) Scratches too easily?So what are your thoughts on this? Any existing owners here, please weigh in and share your wrist shots!

Is there a panerai alternative?
I was just looking around for a watch which was abit casual, yet still has that it factor (history, quality or awesome design? I have no idea how to describe the it which makes a Pam what it is). I settled on a panerai radiomir, due to its slightly dressier styling than the luminor and slimmer profile. Either a 380, 337 or a 512 are models which I would consider. But I want to mix it up abit and compare other watches in that price range which might be an alternative to the radiomir and I've come up lacking.... A couple of brands which I've looked at: 1. bell & Ross (their square cases seem bulky and the fact that the screws done line up would drive me mad)2. margarette (yes. They are much more affordable and I've owned one before... But it just didn't do much for me). So my question is, have you had a serious alternative before when you were considering getting a panerai? And why?
