Breitling Beige Dial wrist watches news:
Specifically, I am interested in knowing how much opposing force (i.e.400 lbs) would be needed to tear apart the bracelet of a SMP or PO. Can anyone help please? Thanks!-JB
Greetings all,New to the forums and to the Omega world.I am very interested in the Speedmaster Professional, or the "moon" watch. The watch will be worn on a daily basis.Anyone have any thoughts on this potential purchase? Any reliabality/movement issues? I would probably be looking to purchase a newer model, and seems like I can get a brand new one from an AD at around $2700. Any thoughts on the price?Thank you all in advance for your time.
Need some help identifying this watch. It belonged to one of my parents and think it's from the late 40's. I think the serial number is 8469220 from the back of the movement. When I ran the serial number it told me it was made around 1951. Later than I thought as my parents graduated high school about 1942-43. I have attached pictures to help. There are a lot of numbers inside the back of the case. some stamped but a bunch scratched and engraved. I know it is 10k gold filled and it runs and keeps perfect time when I remember to wind it. I appreciate any help you can give me and THANKS in advance.Terry
