This is one of those watches that I have been seeing in magazine advertisements for a while, slowly determining whether it was just a fascinating design that would get old, or a really lasting good design. I've decided that that the Bovet Sportster is an awesome watch that fits perfectly into the definition of what a luxury sports watch should be.?? I know, a departure from "I am not sure if I really like it," but this appreciation hit like a lingering aftertaste. First, the watch is elegant. Yes, it is a strong and sporty looking watch, but it isn't wildly designed with a busy array of elements on the face shoved in to make it looked interesting. It uses a clever bull-head style 46mm wide case, with a top lug structure that wraps nicely around the crown, but if moved allows for easy operation of the screw down crown. Lume
I'm back! Need help again. What else is new. I bought a 2512.30.00 from a good guy in MD. To be fair there was no mention of lume and he sent the watch with a 72 hour return policy. The watch is 2 years old at the most and is still under warranty. Should there be significant lume at this point in time? Should I send it in for polishing and lume? How expensive is this kind of service? Everything else is great on this Aqua Terra, it's the one with blue on white. Thanking you in advance. Dom

Fish Caught...Breitling Superocean Steelfish!
I just picked up my third Breitling in the Superocean family, a Breitling Superocean Steelfish. Many call the dial White or Silver its almost neither but IIII like it! I think I'll keep in on the OEM leather strap for a while before giving the SS bracelet a go. I just love the textured dial of the Steelfish. The size of the SF with these old eyes is just perfect. With this purchase, Breitling is now my dominant Brand in the collection numbering four. Maybe someday I can get four Rollies in the collection.

Off to Bienne...
I sent my Seamaster to Bienne today. I have heard that the Swiss service centers are much better to deal with than the ones here in the USA (I also thought it would be more fun sending it to its home.)It cost me $38.00 and change for express with insurance. It is supposed to be there in 4 business days.I asked them for some Omega goodies in my request letter, we will see what I getAfter they get the watch, service it and return it I will write a brief review of the whole process.

Question about OEM straps
Hey guys!I need some help. I just picked up a 233 and when I have it on my wrist, the strap is either too tight or too loose. I'm between sizes, I believe that it has to do with where panerai punches their holes on the strap. So with the said, do I have to go aftermarket?Thanks in advance.
