Hamilton Repair?
Hey gang, I'm a newbie here, I found this forum while looking around on the net for watch repair facilities. My wife bought me this watch many many moons ago, I'd have to guess it's 15-20 years old. She bought it for a b-day present for me when I was in the Navy. Anyway, time has taken it's toll, it stopped working a while back and is in need of repair. It's a beautiful watch and I would like to get it fixed; hence my postDoes anyone know of a reputable Hamilton watch repair facility? I checked on Hamilton's website and they make no mention of repairing their watches (that I could find). Thanks in advance.Steve

my first post and first Oris - a Regulateur ¡°Der Meistertaucher"
Hi Everyone,Just joined this forum and this is my first post! I have purchased my first Oris watch within the last couple of weeks, an Oris Regulateur ¡°Der Meistertaucher¡±. It is the 49mm one with the black face and orange indices - do many people on here have this watch?So far I am very impressed, although I have noticed a very small mark on the crown which I didn't notice when I purchased it. It's one of those things that I'm sure no one else would notice, but once you know it is there yourself it is very annoying!!!! I got it from an AD and I believe I got if for a pretty good price, with ¡ê428.00 off of the RRP.Rob.

Grey Market questions
My husband bought me a 1911 gold ebel 15 years ago. I think that the dealer added a diamond bezel that was not an ebel bezel and it doesn't have a sapphire crystal. Does anyone have any suggestions what to do with this watch? I wonder if the gold value will now be worth more than any watch value.
