Breitling A2536313/Q522 wrist watches news:
Hello, I am new to this and would like some information if anyone knows. I have inherited a 18kt yellow gold gents 18048 42 diamond white gold bezel with a 10 diamond dial two of which are tapered baguettes at the 6 and 9 positions. I have been informed that the bezel and dial are aftermarket. I recently observed the exact same watch on E-Bay in the same configuration. I do understand that E-Bay is not the best source but I have been trying to find out if Rolex did or did not even as a special run, place a white gold bezel on a yellow gold case. The serial number is 6546XXXX I was told by the Rolex service center that a comparison model would be the 118348. Does anyone have any idea regarding this configuration. The watch was initially sold in Detroit Michigan at Wright Kay jewelers. This company has since closed its doors. I suspect the purchase was made in the late 70's to mid 80's.
I just spent a few days at my cottage with my brother and he seemed to think the five "extra" watches I had on hand were "a bit much". FWIW, I was wearing a SS Edox , and had another Edox in two tone w/leather strap, a Bucherer chrono, an Ebel auto, and a pair of Zodiacs - one auto & one quartz. I explained to him that I never travel with less than two (one "work" and one "dress"), but I happened to have a few more in my computer bagI was going to be away for several days, after all!Anyway, am I unusual (within the expected WIS norm), or do most of you guys also bring a few along on business/vacation trips, and the like? I just don't like not having a choice in the morning. What do you guys think?
I've seen some people on the forum complain about AP rose gold change color in certain spots on the watch......has anyone incurred this issue and in general how durable would you say AP gold is over time ? Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
So I noticed the crown was rough to turn during wind up after about 5 revolutions. The watch had sat for about a week and was this fully unwound. I stopped and hoped the watch would continue winding itself automatically on my wrist tonight, which It did. Just got home and decided to try again and found it was still rough. Not only that, but it won't change the date anymore. Has anyone else encountered this problem?
3 weeks ago I just purchased a pre-owned AP Diver (steel) from well-known watches store in Jakarta and I heard about three years warranty so I went to register my watch. And here my concern occurred. Above is my warranty booklet and it does not looks like this..I can't find any warranty number on my booklet. I check the store Ginotti which located in Antwerpen and it seems like respectable store.Anyway, these are photos of my watch. Is there any possibilities that my watch is fake?I really need help/suggestion. Thank you
