Tudor 79260 wrist watches news:
This is a review that I have shared on other forums, too.The Rolex GMT Master is a model with a grand history behind it, and it would go beyond the scope of the review of the Rolex GMT II 116710LN to go into details of the fascinating history and aspects of the predecessor GMT's.For those who want to read more about the "old" GMT's there are various articles, and the following links contain essays that give a short, but still good overview over GMT models and their history:GMT.GMT Transition.GMT - Past and present.GMT II 16710 and its predecessors.and last, but not least, various comparative reviews of the GMT II 16710 and GMT II 116710 have been made, but I will recommend the following excellent comparative review by "Sheldonsmith" on another US watch forum:Two Rolex GMT's.Now to the review of the GMT II 116710LN...The various parts of the watch (case, crystal, bezel, crown, dial, bracelet, clasp and movement) will receive "scores" from 1-5, depending on how well the various parts are

I've wanted a flieger for a while now, & I'm loving the quality of this Miyota-powered beauty. I like to think of it as my mid-century "axis of evil" combo watch. A great intro to German watches! Side by side, with another of my favorite Germans:
I've been deliberately putting this one off to build some anticipation. I'm pretty excited that today is the day I get to wear the Staunton again.
This may be a stupid question but I randomly found a dealer that had a 5167 in stainless at an AD near me I¡¯m picking up tomorrow. I inquired about the rubber strap and understand that with the clasp can run as much as another 2500. So I¡¯d be 23.3 with tax + another 2.5 or 25.8k all in. I assume there no arb to buy the rubber 5167 then get stainless bracelet, but that would put the stainless bracelet at 6-7k. Not the end of the world either way but random question I figured I¡¯d check. I¡¯ll have to post pics of the watch tomorrow my first Patek and am pumped.
