For a long time, I didn't know how I felt about pilot's watches. For years, I found myself underwhelmed whenever another in a seemingly endless queue of "me too" models hit the market. Every brand was at it, and I couldn't figure out why. Then, quite by accident, I ended up with one on my wrist, and I finally got it. Hey PalsWhen I researched into the auction of Ed White's Speedmaster .info/forums/showthread.php?t=394I came across a fascinating new chart of Speedmasters which were issued to astronauts and used on missions. It is the the result of a three-year project by Ricciardo Canova and Gino Balbi with data obtained from Washington and Bienne and lists the Speedmasters used from the Gemini through to the Apollo-Soyuz and Skylab missions. The painstaking work of Ricciardo and Gino is continuous and further information may be obtained from their website at speedmaster.itI realize we specify a maximum image size of 800 x 600 guys but it was the only way I could reproduce this chart in its' intended format as a fitting tribute to its' creators.Enjoy and be well now ZIN

Similar size/comfort/form factor to a Submariner?
I think I am going to stop fighting it. My 16610 is my favorite watch. After losing too much money flipping while buying/selling watches to add diversity, such as chronographs or dress watches, I think I am going to just stick to adding interesting watches that are pretty similar to my Sub. I'm talking size, comfort, and even the overall look/aesthetic (although it doesnt' necessarily have to be a diver).So outside of the obvious (another Sub), what would be some good candidates? Within the Rolex family I'm guessing it has to be either GMT or Explorer II, correct? Maybe even the Explorer I or OP 39?And any outside Rolex? The Tudor BB 58 seems close in this regard.

Went to pick in my SkyD today and the AD had everything one would want. They had one SkyD in white, and couple TT SkyD as well.
