Panerai PAM 210 wrist watches news:
Hi, I recently came across a patek Phillipe watch and i was wondering if its a fake or an authentic. The watch description says that the watch was made for Saddam Hussein's top military leaders and only 6 of them were made.Take a look at the pictures, what do you think authentic or a fake? So what do you guys/gals think? Authentic or Not?How much do you think a watch like this is worth?
Of course, I know it's silly to wish a forum a "happy birthday." But we are ONE MONTH OLD today. As the self appointed HISTORIAN of this forum (I just gave myself a raise too), I would like to point out a few statistics:Over 1700 posts in one monthOver 221 threads in one monthDropping Rene' Rondeau's name here 352 times (he is the official Hamilton historian and expert and we love the fact that he visits and chats with us so often)8 new Hamiltons bought by members of this forum (at Invicta, we would have 8 in an hour)4,521 bad puns by foghorn, mgiraz, eddiea, grady, muttley, MacDaddy and yours trulySo, on behalf of all who have come by, I can honestly say that this past month of starting a new forum with all of you has been PRICELESS! Thanks and let's keep up the fun.And do you know who we have to really thank for all of this? (Please scroll down)
Rik,I have a Ball Engineer Hydrocrbon Trieste, which, until recently has performed within COSC guidelines even though it is not a chronometer. For the lst week or so, it has been stopping even though I am careful to make sure it stays fully wound at least daily. On two occasions, it has stopped while on my wrist in bed. Two other times it has stopped while on the Orbita winder AboutTime sent me at the time I purchased the watch. If I wind the watch with the crown, it feels like the spring is "binding-up". The clutch does not release smoothly when it is fully wound. If I continue to turn the crown after I feel resistance and the movement seems to spin, turning the crown backward while spinning. Is this the "wobble" I have read about with the Eta 7750 movement? Is this a matter of the spring needing to be cleaned and re-lubricated? If so, it seems like a trip back to Ball USA's warranty department is in order. I don't want to pay for a service at a local watchmaker for an issue
i bought the watch off of ebay and when i recived it the red dot is not there my question is that all omega come with red dot specially seamaster and if they are suppose to have red dot and the red dot is not there what should i do i got the watch from also the minute hand is suppose to be green did it change and now the hour and minute hand are the same color?.ebay/itm/172211751812...%3AMEBIDX%3AITany help be appriciated
Just been admiring the White Gold Pepsi with a Blue dial and saw that it still had the 3186 movements fitted. Are we to take from that that they have used existing cases and supplemented them with the addition of a blue dial and are using up the older movement as this will fit with no messing around with the case?Obviously, the 116710LN, 116710BLNR and the 116713 and 116718 are all remaining with the 3186 movements too......... but for how long?
