Oris 643 7609 8454-07 4 24 34 EB wrist watches news:
OK, I had a couple questions on the vintage DD & DJ's, and I'm hoping someone can help me. 1)What the serial number range is for a 1970 Day Date?2) What is the serial number range for a 1970 Date Just?3) I believe these had plexi crystals and the sapphires didn't get introduced until late 70's/ early 80's. Are there aftermarket sapphires that would fit these models? I realize it wouldn't be original, but I just don't care for the vintage plexi crystals as much as a sapphire.4) I'm looking to get The Best of Time. Is this the type of information I'll find in there? Thanks for any help everyone!!!!
I have been a complete idiot lately, I see my mistakes and recognize them. I have posted on EVERYTHING weather I know what I'm talking about or not (as Dennis pointed out) and usually, I don't. I'm a HUGE watch fan and want to be a contributing member of this forum but I Went a little too far (or a lot too far) I needed a good slap in the face and I want to thank you for being as patient as you were. I do not expect you to post or anything. I just want to put it out there that I am very sorry. It was never my intention to be as immature as I was. Please forgive me and I will do my best to be an actual contributing member of this forum.
Here's the thing, I have plenty of watches, one for this, one for that, bla bla bla, I'm looking for one all around, daily, tough watch, one for daily wear, for golf, scuba, mountain biking, lawn care, oil changes, basketball, baseball, fishing, swimming, even fine dining and weddings. Tough/elegant/smart. The kicker.....under $200, just in case I'm too rough with it, it would be no biggie. Topping my list so far....Seikos Orange Monster, top of your list?

Hello, I've been on the fence on whether I should buy a 5712/1a for my retirement gift or if I should purchase another Rolex (I have 2 Daytona's, SS & TT). I did have 4 but I sold 2. So now I have decided to purchase a 5712.My question is where should I purchase it? I know what the retail value is but I don't want to give them my entire 401k! I keep hearing about Goldberg but they seem very expensive and I have also seen that the prices seem to be a little inflated. I would appreciate any thoughts on this subject. Thanks.
