Breitling A 53035 wrist watches news:
This year is the 60th anniversary of Blancpain's legendary Fifty Fathoms dive watch collection, but at Basel World we caught sight of something completely different from the brand. The Collection Le Brassus Tourbillon Carrousel takes the aesthetic of the Villeret collection and adds two rotating escapements, a tourbillon at 12 o'clock and a carrousel at 6 o'clock. Not only is the watch captivating to look at, but it also gets more and more fascinating as you begin to notice all the little things that make it exceptional. 2 OF 25 Closer Look At The Blancpain Tourbillon Carrousel First off, it's important to understand what exactly separates a tourbillon from a carrousel, since they can look very similar to the naked eye. A tourbillon uses one source of power to both move the balance wheel and rotate the cage, while a carrousel uses two sources of power, one for the escapement itself and a second to regulate the rotation of the enclosure. These are two
Well, I just received something I never thought I'd buy (based on cost) but I got it today and I can say it is amazing. I've never seen a diagonal bracelet which I suppose is one of a couple variances of their bracelets for the Colt GMT (which one is best;) this one is more comfortable than any bracelet I've worn. The finish on the watch is really nice and of a caliber I have not seen before. The person before me must have worked in a pillow factory because there isn't a scratch on the watch and it looks very well cared for. I uploaded some nice pictures for your viewing enjoyment. So here is my unveiling, I was too excited to do the whole thing but here goes:My OHAS for you GYou can see some of the nice details on the dial here:The cool engraved backI like the size, I thought it'd be a lot bigger but I'm really pleased with the size:
I bought this in a bag of other junk watches (Honestly, I bought the bag just for this one )I think it's an older auto, maybe 80's? Big watch, heavy to! It's about 4 and 1/2 CM by 1 3/4 CM (relatively)It's worn, but not overly abused from what I can see. Dirty though, need a good cleaning! The black bezel reminds me of a Rolex design too.The black rubber band is an original Seiko, to!It seems to be running well. I can't get the back off because I don't have the proper tool.I don't know anything about old Seikos, i spent 5$ on the bag so I hope i can recoup my investment atleast :-Dthe dial says:SeikoAutomaticWater 150m ResistJapan6105 - 8009TPicture time!Edit:Ok, maybe 'vintage' Seiko is a little much, let's just say an older Seiko :s
This was a first for me today. Mrs. Boscoe decided which watch I should wear - without consultation. I hope this isn't a trend - or a sign she's getting bossy in her old age. So a poll is in order!
Does anyone have wrist shots of the 5227G/black dial to share here?
