Late the other night I was on E-Bay bidding on some rather used Tag F1's but getting out bid. So over to check out some Seikos...Before I knew it I was the high bidder on a new Seiko SNK809K2. Nice looking watch for sure, reminds me of some Stowas, or Glash¨¹ttes. I'll probably end up swapping the strap for a leather one.Due to us building a new garage, and my increasing interest in higher end watches this isn't quite what I had intended...oh well, I should just give in huh?Also this will be my first auto!

New Accutron on the Way!
No it isn't a Vx-200 diver. But a Breckenridge quartz in blue. While I've not found many pictures of this model, the dial/face/and reputation of Accutron made it hard to resist. A seller on the 'bay was wanting $299 BIN, a quick search brought up a previous auction that he had accepted $150 for it only a few weeks earlier. While I basically bought this watch sight unseen, besides some stock photos, I'm pretty excited to get a NIB Accutron for $150.

Counterfeiting goods is OK according to EU and British expert!This very morning I spilled my cup of tea when I read through an article published by the British quality daily Telegraph.The comments by Professor David Wall, one of the authors of the EU funded study, are simply and plainly dangerous. Our societies are based upon the guarantee of property and its ownership by the forces of the state. That is pretty much the first of the fundamentals of our culture. Whether this property is intellectual or physical does not make any difference whatsoever.Today, it is actively encouraging the counterfeiting of goods; tomorrow it is actual confiscation of the fruits of human endeavours by the chosen few like Mr. Wall.I will never, ever consent counterfeiting any item and I do not stand corrected on that one! I can only urge companies braving the challenges of counterfeited goods not to pay any VAT or other taxes anymore. It is simply not in their interest to finance any state acting in the wa

I have been eyeing the 15305OR for quite some time and I am 95% sure on pulling he trigger. But then of course there are always other contenders. So there is the beautiful 5712R and the rare 5711J. Now I am a bit weary on which to choose. I purposely posted this in the AP section because the PP endorsers are quite strong. Thoughts?Sent from my 16M
