- It is a fantastic watch, with beautiful craftsmanship.Unfortunately had to return it, because the dial is very on wrists. (about 2 and half inch).

- I love the watch. It does all kinds of timing things. However, now that I have the time I have not taken the time to figure out how to work all the gadgets!

- Nice and functional watch for the price. Date is really hard to read though. Fairly intuitive, just have to change my mindset from the buttons on my last watch. I would not hesitate to buy another one of these.

Blancpain 5015-1130-52 wrist watches news:
So, I just got my 1940's Gruen triple date calendar watch in the mail that I won on eBay. I had high hopes on this one. The buyer has thousands of sales with a 99% positive rating. The description included words like "pristine" dial, recently "serviced", and "works". I did see some imperfections, but gambled that they were with the crystal, which I could easily buff out.Unfortunately, for what I paid, the dial is less than pristine and date pusher doesn't advance the date hand.I'm not going to send it back, because it is a watch that caught my fancy and was of the type I wanted to add to my collection. So off to my watch guy for a little work on the dial (I just think it needs cleaning) and a repair to the date/date mechanism. The positives are that the case just needs polishing and cleaning, the crystal looks new, and watch does keep good time. So in a couple of weeks, I'll post the "after" shots.[img]grumpyguyinc/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/IMG_6913.jpg[img]
Hey everyone. First I'd like to thank everyone for a great forum and wealth of info. I've been reading through for a few days now, looking to get the most out of a new watch purchase. I own a Seiko (7T326N60) that I've had 12 years and want to get something more classic.Through reading the forum I was able to search dozens of brands for my budget (I'm strongly leaning toward the Tissot. Quality-wise, are these both pretty good purchases for the money? Which would you pick? Are there any other suggestions for my budget
Did some work for a local dealership and the general finance manager had to show me his newest aquisition...Ceramic!He said he had his AD, our friends Henne Jewelers I think he said, special order this for him as it wasn't scheduled to arrive for a while.Quite attractive, I must say!(And the Omega is nice as well. )
Have an omega chrono diver, 2225.80 I believe. Seems like every two weeks it need nudged up a minute or two. My speedmaster 3513.50 was the same, maybe a little more. So, I find them a minute or two behind, but never ahead.I was just curious at to how often owners of similar watches were adjusting the time.
Is it possible to order a new bracelet from Rolex without the old one being damaged ? I was thinking of getting a Rose Gold Jubilee just to mix things up a bit on my new DJ 41
