Question about a Hamilton womens watch (Marrietta?)
Since I am not an expert for womens watches I could not answer completely the question of a German member at one of "our" boards there. Maybe some of you can help and teach us more about it. I'll post the link to the watch in question underneath. The owner assumes that it looks like a Marietta and referred to a catalog pic she found in the net. It seems to look like one but there is also a slight difference in the lugs or point where the strap is supposed to be attached to the case. The catalog shows 3 "tiny bars" attached to the case and the strap is on the third. This fotos show only 2 tiny bars.Therefore I am not sure if it is this model. But then the cord strap seems also to be another one than those pictured in the catalogs for various other models. My guess was, it could be a Marietta case which was changed by the (or a) jeweler to meet the specs for this broader band on behalf or as a special wish of the customer. Can I pull off 44mm ROO (6.5" wrist)
Ladies and Gents... I apologize for the pic overload but need your honest opinions. Have owned bigger watches Panerai and Bell and Ross (44-45mm) in my younger years early 20s and now in my mid 30s my tastes have changed to smaller watches and have just Rolexes and Pateks (38.5-41mm). Have always wanted an AP but did not like the fit of the lugs of the Classic Royal Oak design on my small wrists so always seemed to pass. I love the look of The AP 44mm ROOs but just wonder if it is too darn big for my wrist. Our AP expert Paul has told me repetitively if you change to a short strap on the 44mm ROO the watch will fit great on a smaller wrist. Here are some pics I took of me trying on the 44mm Ceramic ROO at Bal Harbour. And the last pics are of a Sales Associates FC ROO with a short strap he let me try on and it does make a difference. For whatever reason the FC ROO looks bigger on me. If I can pull off the size would be deciding between the 44mm Ceramic or 44mm RG. Thanks in ad

1960s Constellation
I found a nice 1960s Omega Constellation with a date and leather strap in a store. It is a 24 jewel 168010 and 564 movement. They are asking $650 is this a good price? Let me know what you guys think and I will try to find further information.CHeers

for first Patek, 5205 or 5146?
Well, i have few rolexes and now im interested with Patek.(yes it happens!) but of course i have do savings first...I look around and compare the specification etc, i come up with 2 models which sings to me and both are annual calendar (the most 'affordable complications...Which will you suggest for me for my 1 st ? Whether it is 5205 or 5146 Slate?
