Breitling A1436002/B920RS wrist watches news:
Finally, a watch with a design as ostentatious as a Lamborghini - designed to go with your Lamborghini. New Italian watch brand Adriano Valente (did the name give it away?) has released their first watch called the AVL001. With tons of customization options, it is designed to go with the look of newer Lamborghini cars such as the Murcielago and Gallardo. It has a unique case design and (reportedly) exclusive in-house made movement. Note that their website music might give you brain seizure. Plus, even if you turn the music off on the site, it will inexplicably turn itself back on at some point and make you wonder if the ghost of a failed Milan night club is lurking in your computer to haunt you.First of all, Adriano Valente has no relationship with Lamborghini - these are quite unofficial watches of the cars. Adriano started the brand because he simply didn't find any existing watches out there with what he wanted. So the entire point of the brand is about customization. The first mode
I have a Tag Heuer Carrera due to arrive at my local AD today, but I just found out that they also carry Omegas. I can still change my order to the 2225.80.00 Omega, but may have to wait a week before it arrives.Which of these two watches would you pick based on aesthetics, long term value, and general durability? 1) Tag Heuer Carreratagheuer/the-collecti...=CV2014.FT60072) Omega Seamaster 300M Chronoomegawatches/index.ph...000&no_cache=1I'm planning on wearing the watch almost every day, but I tend to be OC in trying to keep the time piece as new-looking as possible. Which one will probably weather everyday-use better?Sorry for all the n00b13 questions...
Hello all, I have the opportunity to acquire this one from the 70'sCan anyone tell me if this a good dial or redone? Also are these chronographs easy to service? thanks
Hi everyone, thanks in advance for any suggestions and advice. I'm pretty careful with my watches but realize that inevitably, they will get their 'everyday' wear which includes some scratches. But these on my PAM seem to be dark and quite noticeable as opposed to your 'normal' hairlines. Not even too sure when & how it happened and just noticed it today. Here are some crude iphone pics but hope you can see them clearly...they are on the polished bezel and case around 5 o'clock. Running my finger over them, they don't feel like deep dings. Has anyone on the forum ever had similar scratches like these? Any thoughts on a DIY job with cape cod cloths? Naturally I can just wait until service but would love to get your thoughts on doing something now. Thanks everyone!
Oldman2005 brightened the holidays for me. Last week he offered up his extra Rolex Daytona magazine to the first comer. It arrived today and is super cool.I'll get my other Daytona out tomorrow and read it cover to cover. Thanks again!!! -Christopher
