I have a Tag Heuer Carrera due to arrive at my local AD today, but I just found out that they also carry Omegas. I can still change my order to the 2225.80.00 Omega, but may have to wait a week before it arrives.Which of these two watches would you pick based on aesthetics, long term value, and general durability? 1) Tag Heuer Carreratagheuer/the-collecti...=CV2014.FT60072) Omega Seamaster 300M Chronoomegawatches/index.ph...000&no_cache=1I'm planning on wearing the watch almost every day, but I tend to be OC in trying to keep the time piece as new-looking as possible. Deep & dark scratch on polished bezel
Hi everyone, thanks in advance for any suggestions and advice. I'm pretty careful with my watches but realize that inevitably, they will get their 'everyday' wear which includes some scratches. But these on my PAM seem to be dark and quite noticeable as opposed to your 'normal' hairlines. Not even too sure when & how it happened and just noticed it today. Here are some crude iphone pics but hope you can see them clearly...they are on the polished bezel and case around 5 o'clock. Running my finger over them, they don't feel like deep dings. Has anyone on the forum ever had similar scratches like these? Any thoughts on a DIY job with cape cod cloths? Naturally I can just wait until service but would love to get your thoughts on doing something now. Thanks everyone!
