- This watch is easy to read, which is my highest priority. However, the strap is ridiculously long and sort of gets in the way. I wear it but the strap is a bit of a nuisance.

Next year's Explorer IIanyone excited?
OK, so I am giving serious thought to the new SS Submariner. But at the same time, I'm asking myself about next year's orange hand Explorer II (which can be seen in this video - Video - TinyPic - H).Now, let me preface this by saying that I'm not looking to add to the number of stainless steel watches I own right now. But it's going to be tough not picking up one of these modern orange hand beauties. The new Sub is a much easier decision - sell my 16610, add a little cash, and it's a zero sum addition to the collection. But it will take a LOT of discipline to not add the new Exp. II next year. Maybe after it's been out a couple of years and can be had at a depreciated rate....hmmm....Anyone else excited about his one?

Problem with Omega Seamaster bond
I have the black bond, and havent had any problems with it for the about 8 months I've had it. In truth its set on the watch winder for a large part of the time as I hate getting scratches on the band at work. Anyway today i had to reset the watch because the time had gotten off and after wearing it about half a day I noticed when i put it up to my ear I could really hear the rotor scrapping around inside the case like I've never heard before. Its not really a metal on metal sound like the rotor is scraping the case back, but almost sounds like its scraping something underneath the face of the watch. Any ideas on what the cause might be? There are no omega AD's in the area but they do have an authorized repair shop that i think im going to take the watch to.

Longines Olympic Automatic Chronograph or Raymond Weil Parsifal Automatic
I'm about ready to make a new watch purchase. I already own a Longines Large Conquest Heritage Steel Automatic model with the L633 movement (Top Grade ETA 2824). I'm deciding between the Longines Olympic Chronograph Automatic (Top Grade ETA 2894) or the Raymond Weil Parsifal Automatic (Unknown Grade of ETA 2892).I don't really need either. This is for fun. One the one hand I would like a watch to wear everyday. On the other, I would like a watch to complement my Conquest Heritage. I thought about the new Conquest Automatic. It is attractive because of the lower price point. However, I have rejected it because the links in the bracelet are pinned and not screwed and I already own a watch with the same movement.My questions are as follows:Which watch will hold up better over time? The Longines or Raymond Weil?Which watch is better built?Which watch will run better?Am I right in rejecting the new Conquest Automatic?I welcome your thoughts.
