Breitling Breitling 26452 wrist watches news:
Where can I get a bag like that? Tell me those are for sale. In a move that is about as opposite as it gets from the Swiss mentality to selling timepieces, KenmarWatcheswatches-dealer and affiliated WatchWearwatches-dealer is using a new type of sales tactic to bring you their deep discounts. ShopNBC's television network suddenly has some serious competition. Watch out Jim Skelton, you've got some competition. The "Unknown Watch Salesman" as KenmarWatches is labeling him, feels like a distant cousin of Jack, from Jack in the Box. Though instead of hawking bacon burgers, This masked crusader will be sharing with you America's greatest pastime - high pressure, high energy sales tactics. And this time it might go viral.Yea, it is funny, and it is supposed to be. Guys like us though, can sort of see right through sales presentations like this. Such as remarking on how the sale price of $99 is so much lower than the published $425 price on the watch box. We all know that MSRP prices on watc
Hi guys, Ive selling off some of my watch collection because Im saving up to buy a nice vintage Omega. Im looking for a 1960s full stainless steel model, 500 series movement witha beads or rice bracelet. I planning on wearing the watch, so it dosent necaccarly need to be mint. I would prefer a nice orginal dial, but i would take one with a nice refinished one. the models Im considaring are a pie-pan connie seamaster deville reagular seamaster( simarler to a datejust)I was wondering if any could give a couple ball park estimates for the watching im looking for. Also are there any good sellers to buy from online? thanks Joe
Forgive me if this has been discussed in the past, but I've been thinking about the price watch retailers list as a piece's "MSRP" or "Retail Value", and how it's NEVER anywhere close to what the final price is. Think of all other items we buy: books, food, furniture - even cars are relatively closer to their MSRP than watches. Shopping shows, ebay (new items), even the kiosk in my mall, all sell brand new items for 1/4 or less of their "retail value". What's the last hardcover book with a sticker for $29.95 that you paid $8.99 for? Anyone buy a brand new Acura for $15k? If a layman sees one of my watches and asks how much was it, it feels great to say, "It's worth $895 but I got it for $189," but I know this trick won't work on other watch geeks (affectionate term!). Sure, my experience in high-end is limited at best, and there are some exceptions, but in general - who sets these prices? How are they determined? Does ANYONE on earth hold to them? Or is it nothing more than an
Good morning, I am looking at a Patek 5712/1a and have been offered a reasonable deal on one that is still factory sealed in its coffin box, but which dates back to 2008. Is this something I should avoid ? Should I factor in the cost of an immediate service ? I have read a lot of debate on the forum about the settling of oils, though I would have thought a 2008 watch was modern enough that the synthetic oils used would remain evenly coated across the train and the watch would be as good as new. As a relative newbie, however, I may be showing my ignorance. Also, are any of the Patek experts here aware of any changes on the 5712/1a between 2008 and today ? In pictures it looked to me that the dial is now perhaps a lighter shade of blue, but that may just be a trick of the light. Very grateful for the guidance of the forum.
My Pam (Q serial) is running a bit fast - about 7 seconds a day. Is this normal for p9000 movement? Also, with respect to self-regulation, which positions make the watch go faster, and which positions make it go slower?
