Breitling AB0110-0212 wrist watches news:
Greetings folks,In my previous thread I mentioned having some trouble with my Sparta. In short, I wasn't getting enough motion on the swings to keep my Glash¨¹tte Original Sport EVO wound. It would stop when the power reserve was expended. Changed the batteries. Nope. Not it. Kevin suggested a new cup and that's what did the trick. I could tell instantly that the bearing was smoother and consequently the number of swings about doubled. So I think that the "educational moment" this can offer is that if you have a winder with the Rotorwind mechanism it's important that the cup's bearings move smoothly and freely to get the maximum number of swings per cycle.Bottom line: My watch is still running after 4 days. Problem solved!Oh....and my impressions of the Orbita Sparta. Now that it's running at peak efficiency I have to say that I really like it a lot. The styling is simple and modern. I keep mine on my computer desk. So once you consider the electrical outlets needed for the

Bit of a hypothetical, but seems that us watch fans spend a very sizable amount on watches and our collections. I myself have also slowly crept up-market and it certainly is not a cheap hobby. But then I see some other collections and just makes me drool because they are nicer than my local AD's :)So I was just thinking of how you decide weather you can buy that new shiny watch that just hit the shelves or when does it become too expensive? Or how do you gauge what your watch buying budget is? Given than these are pretty much perfectly elastic luxury items, just curious how you decide how much is ok spend? Or for that matter, how often?
