Ebel E1256F21 wrist watches news:
As Tudor & Ducati teamed up for the Fastrider we were invited to join them on a fast paced weekend in Tuscany Italy. Shortly after flying into Italy we find ourselves at the Ducati headquarter in Bologna where it all started for them. Here we were welcomed for a presentation about Ducati and continued with museum visit and factory tour (sorry, strictly no photos) afterwards.Study models of the Ducati Panigale super bike. In the background a model that is (partially) made in clay with some road use components.Besides all the obvious motorbikes that are on display they also have a few display cases with electrical components as this is what Ducati actually started building in the early 30¡¯s of last century. It wasn¡¯t until 1946 that they started working on engines for bicycles, followed by motorbikes. The rest is history including the many prices they have won over the years. The Cucciolo, an engine that could be mounted to existing bicycles.During lunch we join the Tudor & Ducati
Okay, so I bought this new watch winder made by Rotations for my Ball Night Train & Ball World Timer. I let it go overnight and I found that the watches are hitting the glass cover when closed. I tried with & without the pillows. I payed 180.00 for this thing and I MUST be doing something wrong. Do I take it back to the jewelry store I bought it from? Any help would be greatly appreciated
Now I know this won't appeal to everybody (anybody?). So, I was looking at my vast collection of watches and noting my favorites. Those are often the ones that I've customized and especially those that have a distressed nearly neglected vintage appearance. Because of the design work I have performed for L¨¹M-TEC, I have a large number of them, some are near duplicates. I thought about what one might just be "expendable", and formulated an idea, Now, I understand what I'm doing to the value of the watch and that some will probably lecture me about the sanctity od watches and so on. For me it's more about personal value. I'd rather have a very interesting, one-of-a-kind watch that I'll wear, than some "unloved" watch box loner I'll likely never wear.So here goes:The "time travelling" subject: a Bull45 A9 in its unmolested state:Now lets get busy - caseback off, nothing special here, typical quartz guts:Release and remove the stem, extract the movement holder and decase the movement and d

A Japanese dealer was offering a very good price (about US$3,000) on Chrono24 for a NIB Omega Speedy 3570.50. When pressed on the origin of the AD, he sent me this pic. Not exactly the most reassuring provenance. Would it bother you enough to look elsewhere?
