Breitling Breitling 13617 wrist watches news:
Porsche Design is releasing their new 1919 collection, which will introduce the Porsche Design 1919 Datetimer Series 1 and the Porsche Design 1919 Globetimer Series 1 watches. The 1919 collection is Porsche Design's homage to the Bauhaus movement. For those not familiar, the Bauhaus movement placed great importance on the concepts of simplicity and functionality in design. Though it's a little early for the centenary celebration of the movement (that will be in 2019, if you couldn't guess by the name of the collection), Porsche Design has unveiled the two watches in this collection. What's interesting, though, is the fact that this is the kind statement that Porsche Design is choosing to make after their relationship with Eterna came to an end about a year and a half ago. Since then, they released the Timepiece No. 1, the name of which made clear that Porsche Design was?ushering in a new beginning for the brand. Now, they're not going in-house (in fact, they're using two different Sell
Bulgari and great timepieces have gone hand in hand ever since it introduced the Octo Finnisimo Tourbillon. Now Bulgari looks to upgrade the external components of a watch with the stuff that space-stations are made of, and the internal components with, actually, more stuff that space stations are made of. While this automatic timepiece employs Bulgari's style and mechanics, it also flirts with a 21st century dilemma about which many brands have been curious. The Diagono Magnesium is named after the material that makes up the center of the case. Magnesium is both durable and extremely light - making this watch somewhat of a slim tough-guy. Magnesium might not even be the most impressive material used here. This Diagono also employs PEEK (PolyEtherEtherKetone), a polymer often used in space-tech due to its temperature and structural resistivity. 1 OF 3 The new Diagono employs a ceramic bezel and PVD coated stainless back to match. Just because I haven't done it before, here's a gallery of my current rotation. My wife and I purchased matching Tissots on our honeymoon in Jamaica in Oct. of 1995. The others are all less than a year old, and hopefully I've settled on a collection I can just wear and enjoy for a while without wondering what is next. See next post for the remaining two. I have a couple of other quartz watches that I need to put batteries in, then see if they get introduced to the rotation. One that almost definitely will is a Mickey Mouse mood watch.002.jpg003.jpg006.jpg009.jpg003.jpg
HiI have to say my DSOTM is the noisiest watch I have ever owned. The rotor sounds like a bag of marbles when it spins other than that it seems to be a very stable movement. Not sure if the Ceramic case transfers the noise better than steel. What are your 9300 noise levels like realizing that this is a very personal thing perception wise. So when you're not wearing them, how do you store your rolexes?Do you put them in a self winding box? just a regular watch box or something else?I'd love to see some ideas :)
