Hello everyone! My wife recently unearthed a Casio Baby-G model BG-154 and it's in need of a replacement strap and the matching face cover. I've done some searching and have had little luck. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas where I can get these items? Thank you all in advance for any help!

Thanks to bullosa for the tip, I am now the proud owner of a Seiko Black Monster. I don't think there's much to say about this amazing watch that hasn't been said a hundred times already, so hopefully the pics will do the talking.Apologies to diver88 for the pic sizes (I didn't know anyone was complaining - I don't have any probs with bigger pics).

Marathon Update/Issue
I know there were a couple of members interested in picking one of these up. I gave a glowing review, but must be honest with a problem I am experiencing. I'm not sure if I'm just not used to rubber straps, but this thing is horribly unbalanced. The case weighs 157 grams alone. It is so top-heavy it is becoming a real nuisance. To the point of being uncomfortable. Also, I think a 22mm strap contributes to the problem. A 24mm might give it more support. There is no way I will pay 225.00 for the bracelet so I may end up with a Watchadoo or something. For anyone that has a watchadoo.......Are they substanstial, or light?

The Value of a Date?
How important is a specific date of manufacture to the value of a vintage watch?For example, if your Rolex serial number only indicated a ten year range from 1930 to 1940, how would this affect its resale value...as opposed to being able to nail down a range of months within a certain year?

Vintage Patek - Dial Patina - Restoration Question
Here is my Vintage Patek ref #2532. 2012-07-13 12.02.41.jpg2012-07-13 12.05.41.jpgI offered it as a trade in towards a ref# 5035 but they only offered me $4,500 so I decided to keep it.I am thinking of having it restored. As you can see, after 60 yrs, the bezel has corroded and needs replacement. BUT my real question is the dial.As you can see, the dial has oxidized and assumed a tan or brown patina. Other 2532s I have seen have white dials.Do you think the dial was once white but has oxidized? Will replacing the dial make it less valuable? Am I nuts for investing the money?I am actually a Rolex man, but the more I wear this watch, the more I like it.THANKS in advance.
