- I received the watch today and it's a very nice looking watch. Although the watch is a little snug around my wrist, it is very appealing to the eye

Breitling 1806 wrist watches news:
In an effort to convert my wife to a fanatical American watch collector like myself, I've been showing her some (not all) of the vintage watches (mostly Hamiltons) i purchase over the web. When I showed her the Hamilton Prescott below, she said "I could wear that". It's one of the smallest Hamilton dials yet much larger than the typical ladies watch made during the 20's and 30's.So I got it overhauled, cleaned up, and put a new leather strap on it. She likes it a lot.Of course, this is just a ploy on my part. I'm trying to soften her up for when I'm able to afford to pull the trigger on a Hamilton Spur or Pinehurst some day. Won't happen any time soon. But hey, it's never to early to start! Mark
My sister graduated with her LPN this spring. Seeing Kibi's recent picture thread on the Traser made me think something like that would be a fantastic graduation gift.I want her to be able to wear and trust it every day, so vintage is maybe out, but what else is out there to recommend?Let's say Posted from tapatalk
Do the new Navy for example wear smaller than lets say the Rubbelclad? or the old 'Navy'?I have not had a chance of trying them out yet but heard they should sit thinner on on the wrist....
Hoping for some advice on a more comfortable strap to put on my 116710LN... Much as I love it, the chunky clasp digs in to the underside of my wrist so much I need to take it off.Can anyone suggest a nice classy fabric, leather or rubber bracelet out there that looks good and might help me?Never had this issue with my previous GMT (the tin can clasp was inferior but at least comfortable!)
