ETA 2824-2 vs Seiko 7s26B
I'm looking for some opinions on which of these two movements is better. I've been looking at a couple of watches that are using the ETA and was wondering how it compares to the Seiko. I know that they are considered the "workhorse" movement of their respective manufacturers but I haven't been able to nail down which is actually superior. I've read the ETA is more "refined" and a tad pricier but that the Seiko is more rugged and better able to withstand day to day knocks and bumps. Any opinions?

Badly damaged/scratched/dented/beat up watches - not a pretty sight - PICTURES
I'm in two minds whether or not scratches or marks on an expensive watch gives it added character or just makes it look, well, beaten up. Just wondering if anyone has any pictures of when nice watches - expensive or otherwise - get damaged....and wants to tell us how...?I wear my watches quite loosely, so I'm always knocking them on walls, door frames or desks....this one example did get my quite annoyed with myself. Luckily I was only wearing a Fossil, bought for about ¡ê100 when I did this youtube/watch?v=4Lct1DIgw9Q on a night out. It's usually the clasps of my watches that get beaten up. So....any damaged watches you wish you could put back to their original state? Or does it make yours individual and add character? Pictures and/or explanation.I guess people who wear their watches loosely like me would have the most damage? Do heavy, chunky watches suffer more?

Another diving trip for the Superocean II
Last week I spent a few days diving in Bohol, Philippines. Of course I got my Superocean II a bit wet. Maximum depth for this trip was 30.3 meters. It even survived the pool!

5167a Underwhelming?
From Internet pics and posts I have always been a big fan of the aquanaut. I have considered trading my DD 118208 for a 5167a, but when I am about sold on the idea I read a lot of posts here that are very negative about the 5167a. I know this is a PP forum but I just wanted to get some thoughts about the watch and if you would trade a DD for a 5167a.
