- Love the BLING! This is a gorgeous watch although a little large for my taste. The band had to have 2 links removed for best fit, but I adore the brilliance of the watch and always receive compliments everywhere I wear it.

Patek Philippe 4910G wrist watches news:
At Baselworld 2010, Breitling will unveil a special version of the Avenger Seawolf Chrono ¨C the only chronograph that is watertight and fully operational at a depth of 1,000 meters or 3,300 feet. The new Blacksteel limited edition features a 45.4 mm steel case sporting a black carbon-based treatment. The standout feature however is Breitling’s patented magnetic pushpiece system. This system, a Breitling exclusive, activates the chronograph controls through the metal of the case, without any direct mechanical contact. This approach circumvents the Achilles heel found in traditional chronograph cases – the holes in the case and the mechanical pusher-movement interface. Breitling’s unique system eliminates the holes, allowing this chronograph to function at extreme depths. This diver’s chronograph is also equipped with a decompression valve and a glareproof sapphire crystal for optimal readability. Breitling’s SuperQuartz caliber provides a level of accuracy
Was listening to NPR this morning and there was a short piece done on consumer spending. Researchers found that if they told a person that a glass of wine was a $35 vintage, the receptacles in the brain open up more to enjoy it, even if in actuality it was a $2 glass of wine. Wine tasters were told to expect excellence and therefore they experienced it. So perceptions of quality are directly linked to the price of a product. Gotta love neurology.I guess this is why companies spend so much $$ promoting their history/heritage, cutting-edge designs, exclusivity, or association with sports/leisure. Take history for instance. You are told that Brand A was worn by Dwight Eisenhower during WWII and you too can buy into this heritagefor a price. So when you go shopping for the watch, you look at the military design, the army green packaging, and the certificate of authenticity and believe that this watch represents an authentic experience. How much is that experience worth? If you cha
This is my second Renato and i friggen love it. Its just about thr biggest watch I've worn, but it curves so well on thew wrist that it is very comfortable to wear. You do need a decent wrist size to pull it off. The detailing on every single part of the watch is amazing. Hope you enjoy the pics. :)
Gentlemen .........and fellow ladies, ....My roommate Mike has done it again .....sort of .......I was popping batteries into some watches for him ....and after I finished, I just kept popping backs....well, one back ......Not too preposessing looking at first glance, and while the hands move easily enough, it is wound too tight as they say .....and one of the little pushy thingies is missing......the dial looks to be decent, but the crystal is rather scratched....the case is stainless steel and looks as if it will polish up nicely ........oh and notice on the very outside edge of the dial, there are light green markers, and on the right of the dial, they're very close together, on the left, much farther apart .......anyone know what's that all about ? the face......But it was when I popped the back off that my eyes did some popping too ! ......this watch is a mere 1 3/8 or so across, ( excluding crown of course .....) and I think I did a cartoon eye bug when I saw this movement ......
every time i try to stay away from breitling i get pulled in again. why is it?
