Seiko SNP025 wrist watches news:
Over the last couple of years Oak & Oscar has slowly, but surely built up a solid following. Many brands do this, but what makes it particularly interesting in this case is that founder Chase Fancher started this process a couple years before actually having a watch for sale. In fact, we first met the Chicago native not on US soil, but in Basel, at one of the horrendously over-priced coffee bars within the shows halls. It was there that Chase first told us about his brand, his initial watch, the Burnham, and his goal to make something great.Fast forward and Oak & Oscar have become one of the more talked about micro brands of the year. Between a strong following of friends and fans from the #watchfam and #redbarcrew scenes on instagram, his brand got off to a very strong start. He also participated in our Wind-Up: NYC event, where his booth was regularly full of intrigued watch enthusiasts. Before getting to the watch, part of what set Oak & Oscar apart was that he wasn't try
?SIHH is barely a month away, and the exhibiting maisons are starting to release some of their highly anticipated designs for 2016. According to many this is going to be THE year for women's watches and Roger Dubuis is clearly on board with that trend. Let's see what they've shared with us, with SIHH just around the corner. ADVERTISEMENT Roger Dubuis' collection designed exclusively for women clients is known as Velvet, and for this year's SIHH, they will be adding two watches to the existing lineup (that we know of so far, I should add). These are the Blossom Velvet Pink and Velvet Secret Heart. Additionally, there will be a new men's watch, The Excalibur Skeleton Automatic. 1 OF 3 The Blossom Velvet Pink (which will also be released in Blue) features a mother-of-pearl dial with assorted pink grand feu enamel floral motifs. The basic case design is essentially identical to other Velvet cases and is set with diam
Earlier today I bought a bottle of Gin (had never tasted it before) and had 3 cups of Gin. I awoke latter in front of my computer to find out that I had bid on Ebay on an Omega Speedmaster. The maximum bid I put in was 20,000 USD, I guess I was so drunk I tried to put $2,000 USD and instead hit 20,000.Luckily the bidding ended at $1,600 USD and luckily the buyer seems extremely reputable with over 2,000 sales and 100% perfect rating. The pictures of the watch are great and looks to be 100% spot on authentic. Please see link and let me know what you think:cgi.ebay/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=380074744140At any rate, I do not know why on earth I bid on a Speedmaster while drunk as am not very familiar with Omega and much less with the Speedmaster. However, if my drunk self thought this watch was worth $20,000 USD then am sure my sober self can learn to love it at the $1,600 USD price i paid for it I just called 2 friends and asked them to come over tomorrow to finish the bottle of Gin fo
As I mentioned in an earlier post, I am quite used to Hamilton 986A's in Wadsworth cases. Recently, I purchased the one below from Bryan.(Bryan's photo). This is a ygf example from the mid-20's.I also recently purchased another one on the swamp under the banner 10k Fahys white gold filled. It was white gold filled. It was a Fahys, but it was 14k. The movement records indicate that it was from late February 1925. Only one problem, I never knew that Fahys made 6/0 cushion round cases for Hamilton. I knew they previously made the "0" size cases. Note the slightly longer lugs and the very subtle differences in the case lip. Will Roseman's site does not mention Fahys involvement. If anyone has any information on this, I would certainly appreciate it.The inside of the case cover clearly shows it to be for Hamilton. Thanks for any light that can be shed on this.
Hi All,The other day i was at the Omega boutique, where I handled the new 8500 constellation in two-tone, what a watch!!It looked quite good on the wrist, similar to the AP Royal Oak, IWC Ingeniur and the Vacheron Constantin Overseas, as I believe they were all designed by the same person, Gerald Genta.I have noticed on these boards and other WIS forums that no one speaks about the newer Constellations, except the older pie-pans.Here in the Middle-East the Constellation is the most popular Omega model.
