For 2014 MCT has announced a brand new watch with the Sequential Two S200, a new round-cased timepiece that focuses on the brand's signature complication for displaying the time with a new micro-rotor-based automatic movement. MCT is a young brand with a rocky history, and we are glad to see them really back on their feet with talent behind the scenes.Originally debuted in 2009, the MCT Sequential One is still one of my favorite "modern watches" being designed by Denis Giguet. A few years after that, Giguet left MCT around the time that he debuted his Opus Eleven watch with Harry Winston (hands-on here). Where is Denis Giguet today in 2014? He actually works for Van Cleef & Arpels, of all places. The end of Spring and start of Summer began a basement cleanup at my wife's parents home. She pulled this little gem out of a box that we had posted in the FREE section of Craigslist. Meanwhile, several trucks pulled up to haul away 70-80s typewriters, skis, ski boots, roller blades, chairs, tables, desks, stereo speakers, etc. I was thrilled my wife spotted this for me. Here are pictures from Saturday before any work has been done on it.Some work needs to be done on the caseback. Some gummy residue and discolouring.Bezel is tight from years of not turning. I loosened everything up in a "Spa"dip of warm water and dishwasher soap before I began any polishing.My OM finally has a brother. A Pepsi brother to relate with! Looking For Advice on Pocket Watches
I've never been very happy with wrist watches; my hobbies require free wrist movement, and now that I'm getting into building electronics, I don't have a watch on 90% of the time anyways. I've been using my clunky old cell phone as a temporary timekeeping device, but I'd like something a bit, well, more watch-like.So I've set myself on purchasing a lovely new pocket watch. I'd like to fine one for under $100 that'll last me a while, and preferably one which comes with a warranty as well. Is this doable, or should I just attach a watch chain to my old scratched Ironman wristwatch? As for the look of the watchAnything that "flips" open would be nice, in order to protect the face. Self-winding is by all means not necessary. I've seen some really high-end watches with "see-through" faces that allow you see the mechanism within, yet I have hunch this look is not "dobale" for under a hundred bucks, but heywho knows? 15450ST dimensions
Hello,I tried on a 15450, 15202 and 15400 today and am stuck on which is the right size to opt for - though I think it should be between the 15450 and 15202 in my case.On the 15450, I felt that the dial looked small, whilst the case head seemed to fit well. May I ask if anyone knows the diameter of the 15450, 15202 and 15400 dials (as opposed to the 37mm, 39mm and 41mm of the cases) and how that compares with Rolex timepieces, such as the GMT-Master II, Day-Date 40 or others in the range, for example?Thanks

When do AD's get their allotment?
So, I have placed a special order for a 5712 with an AD and I was told they sold one in February and that a few are coming in soon. My question is does PP ship out their allotments of 5711's, 12's etc. at the beginning and end of the year? Or is it sporadic?
