Patek Philippe 3893J wrist watches news:
Newbie here!I have an antique Hamilton watch that belonged to my grandmother. It is engraved on the back with the date of 1927. It is very small - about 1 1/4" and may be a lapel watch. I am reluctant to "play" with it by opening the back and getting the serial number. I would be grateful for any help in identifying this watch. Thanks!Hamilton front all good2.jpgLucyPA
This is one of the coolest watches around and JerryT says he has some coolinfo on the Depollier...Here are some Beauty Shots to get the thread rolling...I have 4 total: -2 with the "Waterproof" case (trust me, it is not waterproof now!)-and 2 with a "Khaki" on the crown.Jesse is working on an all Black case that needs Crown work.I will post it when he is finished.Any Info you all have, Start Posting!
No, that's not Italian. I am wondering if a Watch Enthusiast who has many watches can have a single watch style that best suits his personality? When people think of you, do they have an impression that best suits a type of watch? Which watch best suits your personality or lifestyle? And if there is such a watch for you, how do you feel when you wear something totally different? For example, if you think of yourself as a Rolex sub sort of guy, can you wear a G Shock? And maybe you like all sorts of watches and don't mind wearing the G Shock; but when you do wear something really different, does it make you feel different? Do people react to you differently when you wear different watches? If you are used to wearing an $8,000 watch or more, how do you feel when you wear a Timex and people notice it?These are all different ways of asking if you believe in a 'signature watch.'
