Everyone knows that I look at watches as jewelry. I am interested in design and especially 'signature' watches whose design is recognizable. This is what my interest and 'collection' is about. I cannot see spending money on watches that have no 'signature.' The other problem with watches is that they are fairly boring as jewelry. It is sort of odd that a $30,000 watch does not look much different from a $30 watch at ten feet. This isn't right. I really don't understand something like a Patek. I can appreciate the materials used, but it is odd that something so plain can be so expensive. I am not impressed with that. It doesn't interest me at all. You could have a Bentley for the same money. It is silly.Now, there are ways to get around the typical boredom of watchery. One is size and the other is gems. Good materials and detail is good at short range. Size can be an eye-catcher and reflect dollars paid.But here is another possible future use of watchery: STEAM PUNK!Yes,
