AllI have mistakenly deleted the thread started yesterday by Tom Diss. This came about when I went to delete one of my own posts; rather than permanently delete the post I managed to kill the whole thread. Not clever; especially considering the sensitivity of the subject.Fortunately I had it open on another screen and was able to recover the first page. This is reprinted below verbatim and I have screen shots available - if anyone wishes to see what they'd posted as it looked then please PM me. What we have lost is, as memory serves, two posts from Coronado (Bryan) asking for details of sponsorship and the patron program as well as a mention of volunteering to pay sponsorship for his site as well as that of Rene and International Dial. There was also a question by another poster whether the WTF Sales Forum violated the posting rules; Tom had replied that it did not; a minimum Patron program payment of $10 per year permits one to post in the Sales Forum. Greetings Everyone....What a great forum! Sure I will be learning a lot! Just bought myself my 1st new watch in 15 years! I lost my other watch, ( a cheap one ) long time ago and have been using my cell phone as a watch!!!Just bought a Citizen Eco Drive 8700. Just had it one day, so far so good! I set it with the U.S. Atomic Clock on line. Was more watch then what I really set out to get! The sales person in the Jewelry Store was wearing one, and showed it to me, sold me on it!! Been learning the in's and outs of this watch and it is a lot of fun! Too early for a real review, but just a couple of things I have noticed.1. Bracelet - Rather small wrist - adjusted at the store, just a bit on tight side, add one more linktoo lose!2. Alarm Function: I tried it. Volume so low!!! Really not worth much.3. Setting in two time zones: Like it..Nice feature.4. Eco Drive - Great idea! Never buy another battery!5. Perpetual Time - Nice! Good until Feb 2100!!!
