- The watch its self is ok. The blem is that for the first week it kept losing time as if the hand dial was getting stuck. Now it's ok but for the money it's not bad.

Each year I help promote a watch Get Together in San Francisco. This year the event will be held in Carmel California. When: August 7th, 5:00PMWhere: Carmel, CaliforniaThis is truly going to be a historic event as there will be rarely seen in public Rolex watches such as the original 1960 Deep Sea Special. Unlike the watch shown above in Hannes' photo (used with permission), the actual watch that was strapped to the Trieste Bathyscaphe that descended into the Mariana Trench in the Pacific Ocean to a record depth of 35,810 known as the deepest point on Earth, will be shown at this event. This GTG will also have four of the most coveted Rolex dive watches in history, including Jacques Verpeaux’s JANUS IV COMEX SEA-DWELLER as well as Single Red Sea Dweller and a Patent Pending 1665 Double Red.All are welcomed to a great time to discuss watches, as well as see some rarely seen Rolex watches. There is always great discussion and commentary as well as a great dinner. This event is lim
I would be interested to see how a Panda Ceramic ROO would look like. Which ROO model would you purchase in a ceramic version?
Do you think the new SMP bracelet with the screws to secure the links a step backwards from the previous pins and collars? The new system uses two tiny screws on each side to secure a pin the middle to hold the links together. To me, the tiny screws are ... tiny! They are easily lost, much worse than the collars in the old system. And I have no problem with the pin and collar system. With the right tool, I can size the bracelet easily with no risk of scratch. Now I have to mess with the tiny polished screws, its much easier to lose the screws, and scratch the screws or links with a slip!I wished Omega kept the old pin and collar system or just go with a single large screw to hold the links together.
I have been interested in buying a speedy pro for a long time but never really researched which watch would best suit me. I'm pretty sure I will go with the sapphire sandwich with the croc band and may go out today to do some pricing. Generally speaking, what percentage off list should I be looking for or around what price should I have in mind so I don't get scammed by an AD. I am pretty unfamiliar with purchasing an Omega so any advice would be appreciated!
