Last week we took a look at the new Orient Mako USA, Orient's reimagining of one of their most popular entry-level divers. At $225, the Mako USA¡ªwhich comes updated with some higher-end specs¡ªoffers some serious bang-for-your-buck value. The comments section for that review understandably brought up comparisons to the SKX007, Seiko's flagship diver and probably the most iconic affordable dive watch currently on the market. Just tell me I'm plain crazy...
I am seriously considering to sell my SD M series brand spank new and get an LV.Sounds crazy,doesn't ?? The thing is the LV is a "funny" and "no drama" watch,and that's what I generally look at watches when I buy them.The LV puts a smile on my face when I look at it. It goes well with my happy go lucky personality and my 365 days per year of fleece/sport dress.My SD is beautiful and does not gets noticed,wich is something I love too. And ,I have to admit,the bubbleless display and his plastic elegance is something else. Am I maybe still in break in period ? Should I not get parted from such a beautiful watch yet ??? You think the green will bore you in the long run while the SD will never be out of style ??? Should I wait for my winter fleece and my SD to see if they get along ???...silly silly questions....making an ass of myself...

Hamilton military watches: GG-W-113 & MIL-W-46374B
Here is a watch that I'm giddy about getting: GG-W-113 (New old stock no less)and here is a MIL-W-46374B fixer upper thats special because it was issued in 1979 (my birth year).i was looking for the more desired MIL-W-46374 (D) version, but decided it wasn't worth spending so much more. i remember being a little kid in the 80's and seeing these watches for sale at flea markets a little above $50.
