Serena Williams And Audemars Piguet Watches
Last December during Art Basel 2014, I had a chance to meet and take some photographs of Serena Williams. She was visiting the Audemars Piguet VIP booth at the show, and is a newer ambassador of the brand. What struck me then was how passionate and into watches she seemed. With her recent win at the Australian Open, her 19th grand slam single title, Serena Williams continues her assaults at the record books and further cementing her place as the most dominant player in the past two decades and making a case, arguably, to be considered the best who has ever lived (men or women).What was apparent to any watch lover during Serena Williams' visit to the Audemars Piguet booth, was how much she already knew and yet still wanted to know more about watches. Omega PO goes to Cuba!
Just got back from Cuba, spent a beautiful week there with my girlfriend Corine and some buddies (Scott and Kurt), soaking up the sun, smoking lots of cigars, and drinking lots of rum. It's a very interesting country, the literacy rate there is apparently over 95% which is on par with or better than many "Western" countries, and they have a health care program where every citizen is able to see a doctor. Whether or not treatment is readily available is another story however, as there is a shortage of even the most basic things, like cold medicine and even toilet paper. There is 0 homelessness which I found interesting, since the government assigns every person a home of some sort.One rather strange sight was a fair bit of hate propaganda in the form of billboards etc. aimed at America. The Cuban government wants very much for the Cuban people to resent America, but I didn't find that to be the case at all. I spoke with many locals and did not find a single one who hated America,

Yachtmaster I vs. II
Forgive me if this has been done before. The Yachtmaster line has never been as popular as the Sub or GMT. But it has its own appeal to the certain buyer. Even so, Rolex offers 2 versions! Other than sharing the Yachtmaster name, I feel they are completely different watches. If you had to choose, which do you prefer more?I for one like really like the new blue YM. The YMII has its fan base as well. It is very unique so you either like it of you don't, but I wonder if it gets even more love than the YMI?
