Are the winding stems (with crowns) interchangeable between the Gruen 510 and Gruen N510R movements?

A very nice Glashutte that snuck under my radar...
..stopped by a local store here in Tampa and saw for the first time this gorgeousGlashutte Senator Sixties Square Chrono. I was familiar with their regular chronos,but this square version totally snuck undar my radar. Both were great looking butthat flat black dial was something else !! Rolex vs AP
Be interested to know if there is any specific reasons why AP watches are generally much more expensive than Rolex.Do they have more expensive movements or manufacturing processes? I can't see the additional value in the brand alone.

Breitling Super Avenger II vs Avenger Hurricane
So far I have a Panerai Pam 90 and a Rolex Two tone bluesy Submariner. I want to add a 3rd watch to the collection and this time I want a Breitling. I like the 24 hour display and large 50mm size of the Avenger Hurricane but I wonder if its worth substantially more than the Breitling Super Avenger II which is a 48mm. Also the Hurricane is made of a new Breitlight material which is basically plastic for a watch that has an MSRP for $8,390. If you had to choose one over the other which one would you go for and why? I like my watches bold and flashy with wrist presense instead of being low key and flying under the radar. Save my money and go with the Super Avenger 2 or spend the extra $ and get the 24 hour display and 50mm case of the Avenger Hurricane?
