Being my first book, I was really curious to see what would happen and how people would react. Need help over ebay Longine's watch purchase.
an ebay seller is selling this Longine's watch, JewelleryBrands, is the company, they are selling this longines watch (pics attached), and i can grab it for about 350-400, good buy? or should buy something else. It doesnt come with papers or box, the reason why I am skeptical, no model or reference number, I am resorted to calling it "Longine's watch". I am assuming it is a heritage.Movement is automatic, it is a gold filled and stainless steel case. New to site and watches in general.
Hello everyone I am new to watches and i recently purchased a brand new Hamilton X Wind. I really love the watch! I have a question about the movement. Is it normal for me to hear and feel the watch winding its self when I move my arm around. A friend of mine has an Omega Planet Ocean and he can barley hear his. Oh no! I'm ruined!
I've been thinking about the new blue Omega AT 8500 that is showcased in Skyfall (image below taken from the internets).So I went to the boutique to try it on while sporting my own AP 15300. I leave feeling deflated about the Omega. I know its an apples and oranges comparison -- perhaps I should have worn another watch to avoid the comparison. I still may get the Omega, but my AP is just perfection. Has AP spoiled me for other brands!? Anyone else ever have an experience like this?

Looking to add to my Omega collection... Need help choosing....
I have a void in my watch collection that I was planning on filling with a GMTc but that looks to be out of the picture for now. So I need a black dial/bezel timepiece to fill the void. Although there are many other brands that I like as well, I want to stick with an Omega.Here is what I am currently rotating on my wrist...Omega PO 45.5mm ORANGE DIALOmega SMP 41mm L.E. Bond 007 BLUE DIALThat being said, I thought that a S/S Black dial/bezel Speedmaster would be a nice addition since the bracelet would be different than the one on my SMP and the watch is completely different in appearance too.BUT............. I also like the look of the older Black dial Seamaster with the sword hands. I think the Speedmaster is the best choice for me.......I just need some help to push me off the fence.... TRF HELP! :)
