Finland-based sports watch manufacturer Suunto has launched a new e-commerce Web site at SuuntoWatches. The site offers the full range of Suunto watches, which are designed for diving, training, mountaineering, hiking, skiing and sailing. The site offers same-day shipping, free shipping, and lifetime returns. The site provides user-friendly navigation, a streamlined checkout process, simplified product pages, and good-quality product pictures. Account holders have access to order management tools that allow them to see recently viewed products, check the status of orders, manage contact information, and easily reorder previously purchased items.The site was developed by Niche Retail and runs on the Magento open source eCommerce platform. Tissot 17th Asian Games Incheon 2014 Limited Edition Watches
While Omega has the Olympics, fellow Swatch Group brand Tissot has the Asian Games (aka the Asiad). The 17th Asian Games will take place this year in the South Korean city of Incheon September 19th - October 4th, 2104, and will be sponsored by Tissot as the official timekeeper of the Asian Games. Of course, the occasion calls for a host of limited edition watches.As the official timekeeper of the 17th Asian Games Incheon 2014, Tissot of course will release a slew of limited edition timepieces. In fact, there will be nine different limited edition models for the Asian Games, and each will be limited to 2,014 pieces.The 2014 Asian Games are similar to the Olympics, but I am not an expert on the event. Archimede Outdoor Protect and PVD Review
A couple of years ago, we got the chance to review the Archimede Outdoor. We were impressed back then, but in the years that have past, have longed to revisit the watch. Not simply because we missed it, which we did, but because in those 2 years, we've seen so many watches that I kept thinking, "wow, the Outdoor was really unique… Perhaps more unique than we gave it credit for originally." Bulgari and great timepieces have gone hand in hand ever since it introduced the Octo Finnisimo Tourbillon. Now Bulgari looks to upgrade the external components of a watch with the stuff that space-stations are made of, and the internal components with, actually, more stuff that space stations are made of. While this automatic timepiece employs Bulgari's style and mechanics, it also flirts with a 21st century dilemma about which many brands have been curious.The Diagono Magnesium is named after the material that makes up the center of the case. Magnesium is both durable and extremely light - making this watch somewhat of a slim tough-guy. Magnesium might not even be the most impressive material used here.
