- I received this watch today and was so disappointed to see the condition of the gift box it came in. It was intended to be a gift for a young woman graduating from college but I cannot possibly give it as a gift. I'm so very disappointed/disgusted with HSN for sending such a lovely watch in such a scratched, worn cruddy box!!!

While Omega has the Olympics, fellow Swatch Group brand Tissot has the Asian Games (aka the Asiad). The 17th Asian Games will take place this year in the South Korean city of Incheon September 19th - October 4th, 2104, and will be sponsored by Tissot as the official timekeeper of the Asian Games. Of course, the occasion calls for a host of limited edition watches. As the official timekeeper of the 17th Asian Games Incheon 2014, Tissot of course will release a slew of limited edition timepieces. In fact, there will be nine different limited edition models for the Asian Games, and each will be limited to 2,014 pieces. The 2014 Asian Games are similar to the Olympics, but I am not an expert on the event. They have a range of sporting events and competitors from all over Asia come to win medals. Rather than the global appeal of the Olympics, the Asian Games appear to only include participants from countries on the Asian continent, and that includes India and the Middle East. Check out more i
A couple of years ago, we got the chance to review the Archimede Outdoor. We were impressed back then, but in the years that have past, have longed to revisit the watch. Not simply because we missed it, which we did, but because in those 2 years, we've seen so many watches that I kept thinking, "wow, the Outdoor was really unique… Perhaps more unique than we gave it credit for originally." Which is true, there isn't anything else quite like the Outdoor; it's a daily watch, a tool watch, a field watch, a sport watch…all wrapped up into a compact, understated and well-priced package. If that weren't enough, they've also released two new versions of the watch, one of which replaced the version we originally reviewed. The new versions are the Protect, which features a hardened steel case (more on that later) and the PVD, which is simply PVD coated. They also had released a full-lume dial option at some point, which seemed worth examining. So, today we're going to look at one of
Bulgari and great timepieces have gone hand in hand ever since it introduced the Octo Finnisimo Tourbillon. Now Bulgari looks to upgrade the external components of a watch with the stuff that space-stations are made of, and the internal components with, actually, more stuff that space stations are made of. While this automatic timepiece employs Bulgari's style and mechanics, it also flirts with a 21st century dilemma about which many brands have been curious. The Diagono Magnesium is named after the material that makes up the center of the case. Magnesium is both durable and extremely light - making this watch somewhat of a slim tough-guy. Magnesium might not even be the most impressive material used here. This Diagono also employs PEEK (PolyEtherEtherKetone), a polymer often used in space-tech due to its temperature and structural resistivity. 1 OF 3 The new Diagono employs a ceramic bezel and PVD coated stainless back to match. The sanded, grainy texture of the dial
