Breitling B13055 wrist watches news:
Greetings everyone. I am new to this forum and fairly new to the world of Omega though I've been collecting pocket watches for years. First, I aquired my first Omega late in '07 from an AD, a beautiful Seamaster Pro. My next is a manual wind caliber 361 I purchased at an estate sale. It runs well but is in pretty poor shape. Yesterday I took delivery of an '06 Speedmaster reduced that I really like. I actually bought it for my everyday wearer so I wouldn't get any further wear on the Seamaster. I bought the Speedy off Ebay with all the original box and paperwork. The seller had been a member since '03, hundreds of transactions and 100% + feedback. I haven't taken the back off yet, but if it's a fake I'd be amazed.I've attached the pictures as I get the impression that's mandatory. I do have a couple questions. First, should I get an autowinder if I'm not going to wear the Seamaster often? Second, the manual wind could really use restoring but I don't want to sink more in it than its wo
I am trying to decide if I should pull the trigger on my next watch purchase being a Breitling (Bentley type model preferred). I have little familarity with this brand. I have been trolling this site as well as a Breitling site recommended by TRF member and it appears that there have been instances of quality issues brought up. I don't want to buy new and would definitely attempt to purchase through TRF but now I'm worried about quality. Any thoughts/experiences would be greatly appreciated.
I'm curious as to how it works. Is it useful or more of a decoration?
Who do you guys recommend for straps? I had a couple made from the Strap Smith a few years back but I find they are thicker than I like to wear. I have larger wrist and although the XL OEM straps fit they seem just a bit lopsided and are hard to come by. I've seen straps from Dangerous9straps and they look like good work but after a few emails trying to place an order he just stopped writing. I would rather someone point me in the right direction than to keep trying at a few hundred a pop. Thanks
Hope you have one on you are thankful for!
