Breitling a71340L2/q561-2zd wrist watches news:
For the last 3-4 years, we've been speculating that Rolex (who owns Tudor) would be keen to return the Tudor sub-brand to the United States market where it has been absent for a long time. Rolex itself has dominated the US, likely fearing that the lower-priced Tudor brand would act as a competitor. With Rolex owning at least 25% of the luxury watch market, it was in their best interest to not fix what wasn't broken. However, over the last few years, Tudor watches have been increasingly different from those of Rolex. While Tudor watches are produced alongside Rolex timepieces, they use ETA-sourced Swiss watch movements versus movements made in-house at Rolex. It appears as though the time has come where Rolex feels that Tudor can live with its higher-priced brethren in the important US market.A few months ago sources at Rolex seemed to unofficially suggest that Tudor was coming back. First there was increased media attention in the US when it came to working with the watch media, and ot
will you be watching the date wheel on your iwc turn to 2008 or will you be kissing your signifigant other?tough choice i know but this may tell where your love truly lies "it only turns once a year honey, i'll kiss your right after..." happy new year to all, tony
The crown on my 15400 had worked its way loose so I decided to send it in to Clearwater for a checkup and a pressure test to activate the 3rd year warranty. The whole process was extremely smooth and communication from AP was exceptional. I got phone calls and emails confirming they received my watch, time for completion (estimated 1 month), service confirmation and notification of shipping home. They performed a full service of the movement under warranty and extended the warranty by an additional 2 years. Best of all the whole process was completed in just 3 weeks. The watch was VERY WELL packaged when it returned and even got the nice AP travel case. I know many of you have dealt with APSC before and had similar experience but for those of you that haven't AP is among the best when it comes to service and customer satisfaction. Big thanks to Betsy, Guillaume and the rest of the AP team in Clearwater
Decided to wear my Omega cal 600 from '64 today since I haven't worn it in about 6 months. While holding it, I couldn't help but notice that it was making this audible, and quite loud(to me, at least) rattling sound. It was like a ting ting ting sound from the balance wheel that would go on and on, stop, and then start again. The watch has done this for a while even before today. ironic thing is, I had it serviced(I use that term loosely) in NYC in November of 2015. it had this sound before service and ever since i picked it back up. Obviously the service wasn't really done correctly, right? Whats causing this?
Just find it a little weird that my day and date sometime change over at 12.20a something change over at 12.40a... is this normal? I thought since this is a mechanical watch, shouldn't the date/day change at the same time everyday? Feeling confused.Should I be worried?Thx! Cheers! Jen
