Breitling a71340LA/g670-2zd wrist watches news:
I was thinking about this the other day and many of us have a grail watch that in a perfect world we'd love to own but in some respects the thrill of the chase keeps the interest in watches going strong. If you finally find yourself in possession of your grail, what happens then? Is the quest over or do you then replace your grail with another grail?
Newbie here. I was just gifted a Rose Gold Royal Oak LE from 1992 by my dad as a wedding gift but I can't find any information on this model. Was this a good year? Is it valuable? I would like to get it refinished and have some maintenance performed by AP soon. Hope to pass this on in the future :)
Hey everyone, just picked up a new watch this afternoon and thought I would share the joy :) I've been drooling over this one for a while now, and due to losing sleep because of my drooling I decided to just go for it. I own a fair number of sports watches now, so I figured it's time to get a dress watch--especially since my TT Date is in for servicing. As I mentioned in another post, the three watches that I planned on buying this year are: Omega Deville Hour Vision, SS Daytona, and a PAM 233. Went looking at watches today, at a somewhat distant AD, and was glad to finally try on the Black Bay 36. (Sorry for the bad lighting pic and the plastic over the crystal.) I've been feeling like my time with the Explorer is about up, and this all but sealed the deal. What a great piece. Also finally tried on a Speedmaster Professional and I'm a little shocked by how much I love it. The poor Explorer is feeling especially lonely now...
Firstly I would like to take the time to introduce myself as a new member. My name is Jay and I am in the UK. I am 28 and a passionate rolex lover/collector. I would like to Eventually get into the trade of buying / selling rolex¡¯s, building a good name for myself whilst I do so. My brother is a horologist and the passion for timepieces runs through our genes. So Hi everyone and nice to meet you all :)Here is my question.I have ¡ê10,000 to spend on my next rolex purchase, not significant to most of you but its enough to me. With that being said I want to make sure I do the right thing. All of your opinions are crucial to me so please don¡¯t hold back. I am looking at either a 1998 Daytona bi metal 116523, or a classic day-date president. The president also has a factory champagne & diamond dial with an aftermarket diamond bezel (I know about aftermarket :-( ). There is just one problem with the president... the serial number is slightly worn and I can¡¯t quite make out if the first di
