Breitling a71356LA/g702-2zd wrist watches news:
The perpetual calendar complication has been a fascinating and useful feature on high-end watches for quite sometime. Calendar functions directly related to keeping the time, and offer a variety of information related to the 24 hour cycle. Most watches have just the date, and the more complex you get, the more calendar functions you can record. Annual calendars measure the day, date, and month - often the phase of the moon as well. The benefit for those is being able to avoid adjusting your watch each month that does not have a 31 day cycle. Though there is still the matter of dealing with a 29 day February.Perpetual calendars step it up a notch by taking into consideration leap years, which occur each four years and affect the length of February. Perpetual calendars are named as such because they don't need to be adjusted very often. The next time any perpetual calendar watch needs to be adjusted (by one day) will be the year 2100. This sounds sexy even though none of us will be alive
Hi there GuysAs you'll have seen from the " US Buyer Poll ", I'm looking to establish if there is a pattern indicating how we source out watches. Out of curiosity I wanted to know if we source locally or over some distance. Even if you've not bought before and are intending to buy, please let us know your preferred method of purchase. Please remember guys that the more participants we have in this poll, the more meaningful the data will be so even if you've only been a lurker, do please register and vote And of course pals, this being talkland, do tell us why you've chosen this route ( pun not intended - honest !! :D:D )Y'all have a nice weekend now pals ZIN
But I got a call from an AD on Sunday asking if I wanted one. This is an AD where I've previously spent a grand total of about $2000. I befriended one of the sales people over the past year or so. I'd stop in once in a while and say hello but I've never talked to her about getting me a SS Daytona. They got one in late last week and the guy they allocated it to turned it down. The sales person called and asked if I wanted it because she remembered that I was a "collector." She wanted the watch to go to someone who would appreciate it (that's me).So here you go. I am living proof that you don't need to sit on a waiting list for two years or spend $50,000 at an AD to get a SS Daytona.
I added this yesterday. A big thanks to DavidSW!
Please forgive me if this was posted before, but I just came across this today..chronocentric/omega/bond.shtml#bondIt is a worthwhile read!
