Because of my love of nice watches and this forum, I felt I just had to have another watch. However, I simply don't like much of the current models offered by Rolex, especially when I factor in the prices. Although I must admit I read with interest about the Explorer moving to a 39mm case. Nonetheless, I didn't feel like waiting for one to show up at the dealers nor paying the price that will be asked for the new upsized edition.I can't express how much I really love my 36.2mm Railmaster, and I just knew a 39.2mm would look even better on my 8 3/8 wrist. The real attraction of the 39.2mm Railmaster is that unlike a 40-42mm sport watch, the extra size is used to enlarge the dial, not add a big bezel. Thus, the 39.2mm Railmaster offers its simple and beautifully elegant dial in 31.8mm as opposed to the 28.5 to 29mm dials found on the sport watches.Actually, all this is simple rationalization because I just plain old wanted another Railmaster. The Case for the WG BLRO
Hello everyone, I just wanted to take the time to share some observations I've had regarding the new SS Pepsi release and hopefully get your thoughts on something that's been puzzling me. Maybe even some from our current WG BLRO owners. I may be wrong -or it's just too early to tell- but it seems like the general sentiment or at least expected reaction to the new Pepsi by current WG Pepsi owners at the most is offense and in the least, disappointment. To our WG BLRO owners. What were your first reactions to the SS Pepsi? And why? Here comes the crux. Stealth wealth, a virtue stated by many WG owners and aspirers. If its purpose is to please oneself, would it be unreasonable to be disappointed if you found yourself among a sea of SS Pepsis (After the 2-10 waitlist)? Watch is loose on wrist all of sudden
Hey all. First post but have lurked for a while. I have a Black Sub with no date. It's got the ceramic bezel with the folding safety clasp. My wife bought it for me as a gift a couple of years ago while she was in Geneva. I've worn it everyday ever since. Love it. So yesterday I noticed the watch is much looser on my wrist. I can spin it around on my wrist. At first I thought it was in my head but it's been driving me nuts all day today. I went so far as to weigh myself to see if maybe in lost weight. Nope. Steady at 192 pounds. It seems like it's about a half link looser. I remembered that while hunging my wife the day before yesterday, I heard a snap from my watch. Like the clasp engaged. Thought nothing of it but now I think maybe the clasp adjustment moved. Is it possible that the clasp adjustment moved? Is this easy to adjust back? Can you direct me to online instructions how to?
