The Zeitwerk Minute Repeater – Lange's first chiming watch under $2,000,000 – is easily one of the most buzzed about watches of the year. We introduced you the thoughtful taking on the repeater in January of this year here. Now that the watch is hitting stores, Lange has produced a fun look at this dream watch thanks to Tony de Haas, head of product development – who also happens to play a mean set of drums. Watch above for more on this great watch. Originally posted by Lange on their YouTube channel but if you missed it there, hope you enjoy it here! 1 OF 1 You can read more about this amazing watch here. Oh, and if you want to just see Tony do his thing, skip to 5:30 in the clip above.

The Environment at the forefront of the Brand’s 175th anniversary. When it comes to the global environmental crisis, everyone agrees time is of the essence. With that in mind, Jaeger-LeCoultre – in partnership with actor and activist Leonardo DiCaprio – has created its "Time to Care" programme to benefit the Leonardo DiCaprio Fund at the California Community Foundation. The fund-raising focal point of the initiative will be the sale of two uniquely executed timepieces in the Fall of 2008:- a one-of-a-kind Master Compressor Extreme LAB, worn by DiCaprio to the premiere of his documentary, "The 11th Hour", valued at US$300,000.- a one-of-a-kind edition of the Reverso Gyrotourbillon 2, valued at approximately US$400,000, equipped with a state-of-the-art, first-ever spherical tourbillon. This piece will be the first watch in the Reverso Gyrotourbillon 2 series to be delivered anywhere in world. One hundred percent of the proceeds will go to the Leonardo DiCaprio Fund at the
Hi folks, Can anyone give me a rough idea of what the new price of a 5040 (preferably G or R) was in the UK? I've lusted after one for a while now and having tried on its bigger brother the 5940 at the weekend, I think it might be time to consider actually buying one more seriously! Having seen the new price of that (¡ê57k) I'd be interested to know what the 5040 was going for new?Grateful for any help you could offer.
I ordered 4 straps by Mario Paci recently, and they promptly arrived today. I've installed 3 of them and snapped a couple of shots. The MP straps are fabulous! They're made of thick hides, rich in color and aroma. They arrived firm, but soften quickly as they're broken in (which I did all day).As I have small 6.5 wrists, I ordered all but one strap in 115/75 size. This fits fine, with the buckle fastened at the 2nd or 3rd hole, but it leaves a very short tail. Due to the thickness of the straps, consider ordering one size longer when ordering (125/80 in my case). MP makes this recommendation on their order page as well. All the straps I ordered came with sewn-in buckles that are very robust. I would have preferred to use my stock Panerai buckles, which are smaller, but as I said the buckles are sewn in; furthermore, the straps themselves are not tapered, so the stock Panerai buckles I own wouldn't fit anyway. That said, the buckles themselves are well built, nicely finished, and look
