Omega 57005007 wrist watches news:
I have several Chronographs and admitedly they are not high end and they are quartz. The problem I have that's frustrating is if there is any jarring of the watch the second hand (the sweep hand in the center) will go off twelve. Even after resetting the button it will go back to the off twelve position. I have an Invicta Chrono and don't recall having the problem, but I have a Citizen Thunderbird that the sweep hand is off 12.Anyone have this problem or should I stop banging my fist on the counter for service with a Chrono on?
I have just bought a watch with the name Rios on the face, 17 jewel and on the case PLOV GALV in a square. I have found the PLOV GALV on another site and it was on a Wakmann watch. Can anyone help identify this watch. It is a gents watch with date, wind up with a gold coloured face. Many Thanks.Chris
Did a plunge. and these days I am crazy about video-taking for some reason. This is a spectacular pocketwatch I have ever seen. A new old stock, 8 days. Check out the length of the barrel spring seen from the back. Enjoy listening to the ticking sound..I am simply obsessed now:- I admit!! Video Link.Pictures for those who dont have the time as yet:-
I noticed yesterday that the certificate booklet that comes with my used 372 refers to a Radiomir Black Seal on its cover. Should I be concerned?Everything else is perfect. The inside of the booklet looks correct with the case and movement numbers matching and refers to model 372. There is the name of the original purchaser and the stamp of the Panerai boutique where it was originally purchased. It's only the cover that is incorrect. The movement stickers are also present and tie in with movement number. The original cardboard outer box is also present with the correct code. And the watch itself is perfect. I also bought from a reputable dealer who has good feedback on Chrono24 and from whom I have bought before. But I'm paranoid as there are some very good fakes around with fake documents. On the other hand it makes no sense for someone to make such a good fake and then put the name of the wrong watch on the booklet so I am inclined to think there is some mundane reason for this discr
This has been talked about, not sure if it’s been debated or rationalized...two different ways to think.....1. With recent Sub and GMT incomings, trickling in inventories, etc.... it seems there’s no change coming, in case or lug dimensions on the Sub or GMT. 2. On the other hand, there’s the recent developments or redesigns from bigger, to more refined, or “classic” proportions....ex: DJ 41, DD 40, SD4K, SD43, possible discontinuation of BLRO, etc....WHAT’S EVERYONE’S THOUGHTS ON WHAT WE’LL SEE, soon?I know...”only Rolex knows”, but just looking at some contradictory factors, as stated above, what is this fine collection of experts opinion? Just some Sunday thought provoking...
