- I received this watch as a birthday present and was very impressed. The face is a classic! As noted below, the moon phase takes a while to set. The leather band is fine and the clasp is much easier to figure out than previous reviews noted. I would recommend this watch to anyone looking for a timeless piece. For the price, you can't beat it.

new house, new watch, same kids...
hi gang,we have finally settled into our new house. all the furniture is in placeand the boxes are now empty.we are now in westport, ct 40 miles north of manhattan. westport is famousfor being the home of martha stewart and the late paul newman and his playhouse.it's a beach community with one public and one private beach.i have worn the deep sea for a few weeks and it will be a permanent piece.it's big for a rolex but not any bigger then a big bang, panerai, royal oak etc...it's the biggest watch i have ever worn but i have big wrists and the size doesn't bother me.i love the dome crystal and the bezel looks gray when not in direct sunlight.the clasp is brilliant and is as efficacious as the original clasp was functional.will post more often now since i have finally settled down. clmy two boys running at compo beach...the finest restaurant in westport...the dome, bezel and clasp are a complete home run for me...ps. does my wrist look unusually corpulent in this shot? : (
