U Boat 295 wrist watches news:
Does anybody have/seen/know of a rubber strap that fits on a DSSD? I'm hoping to find a rubber strap made specifically for the DSSD which would be fitted around the lugs.Either way, if you have any pics of any DSSD on any rubber straps, please share them here.Thanks.
I was just looking at the members list and I could'nt help noticing all the members here who have not posted yet it's not like they just joined some of these members have accounts from as far back as three or four years ago. I think some of these guy's just registed just for the fact of being registerd, I'm not trying to be rude but whats the point if their not going to post I think they should be banned.
I've come to the conclusion that I'll probably never get a PP 5711 blue at list price. The list price is expected to increase 20% on 3/1. Hmm, almost $30,000 for a SS sports watch with a date... The AP RO 15300 blue dial is a great alternative for a lot less money. The blue dials are harder to find in good shape though. The 39mm 15300 is better fit on my ~6.5 wrist compared to the 15400. What was the serial range/years for the 15300? F-I/2005-2012? I would want one that was recently serviced by APSC, if all possible. I've heard that the later serials have a better, improved bracelet clasp. What serial range/year was the better clasp introduced?
So I was looking at the metal bracelet I bought for my Diver today and noticed that the way the bracelet latches onto the clasp (old style with balls on each side) is by a c clamp they basically clamps onto the middle bar in the middle of the clasp section. Seems like with such design with time the c clamp will wear out and the latching mechanism would not be as tight anymore. To the people that have own the 42mm bracelet for a while, have you noticed that the clasp is not as tight as before? Has it become looser with time?By the way I still prefer the old style with the balls on the side because nothing digs on the skin. The new style has the two push buttons on the deployant (similar design as many other manufacturers) and this definitely digs into anyone's skin. Hate this design... Wish everyone would switch their deployants for buttonless systems.
It is here! Pics from Rolex website; What are your thoughts?
