Cartier WGCL0003 wrist watches news:
The HODINKEE Collectors Summit is really taking shape. Not only will we have the likes of Aurel Bacs, Jason Singer, John Reardon, and Philippe Dufour in the house for completely candid, behind the scenes conversation with you, but we are thrilled to announce a new addition the schedule. And it's a big one. Like, to the tune of $24,000,000. Daryn Schnipper is the international chairman of the Sotheby's watch department. She is the woman responsible for selling the most expensive, most important watch on the planet, twice. Yes, Daryn is the woman who first set the record at $11 million dollars for the Henry Graves Supercomplication – one we thought would stand for all eternity – only to break it this past November by selling the very same watch for over $24 million. She'll be at the 2015 HODINKEE Collectors Summit to tell you what it was like first discovering this horological giant and then going through the process of researching it, understanding
Hey everyone. I recently offloaded most of my collection mainly because I wasn't in love with a few of the watches I had. In any case, I kept 2 that I definitely love: AP ROC and the Sub LVc.So, my question is: would adding a ROO be repetitive since I already have the ROC? Does anyone have both and find one to be redundant? Also, any suggestions on a 4th watch would be great. I'm thinking of going for an IWC Port Auto 7 days. The silver face with gold hands and numbers. I've admired them for a while now. Please feel free to chime in! All suggestions are welcome. Thanks!
Good Day All,What AP Are you going to ware this weekend?Take care,Eric
I am hoping to add a superocean or another semaster chrono in black in the next week or two... thanks for looking and all the best in the new year
I was in an ad today and they had a ferrite dial day date. I had never seen one before. Needless to say it was beautiful. They didn¡¯t have a meteor dial but I am aware of them. (Man I would love to own a meteor dial one day.) I think I saw a tiger eye dial one time and mop dials are fairly common. This got me wondering about the other Rolex dials made of natural substances (other than gold and platinum) like stones and meteors. Does anyone know or have a picture of any other types of stone or natural material dials? Thank you in advance. Love the information on this site.
