If you needed another reason to RSVP in addition to the party with lots of watch lovers, drinks, and foodwe asked Bulova to do something special for guests - a limited production high-quality poster on canvas as a gift, while supplies last.The above image is from an original 1960s Accutron by Bulova advertisement, which in our opinion, tells of a time when watches were sold the right way. This ad was likely the inspiration for the inclusion of Bulova Accutron as a story device in the final season of the television show MAD MEN. Harry Winston Ocean Sport Collection Watches
Harry Winston will soon launch this new collection of watches called the Ocean Sport. While I don't think the name sounds particularly high-end (though the Ocean is a long standing Harry Winston watch), they are interesting are relatively simple and satisfying sport versions of the iconic Harry Winston Ocean watch fare.The Ocean Sport will have a few versions, and pieces for both men and women. Style wise they feel very much influenced by some Roger Dubuis pieces from the last few years. Does anyone else see that? What connects each of the Ocean Sport watches is an aesthetic theme as well as a Zalium case. Zalium is a special zirconium alloy unique to Harry Winston watches. Connected to the watches are either black or white HW branded rubber straps.The men's models come with light or dark cases and in chronograph or three-hand models. Supposedly it is from the late 80s - early 90s (D-serial). I love the fact it's a 36mm. I tried on the 15300 and it's just too big for me.I'm pretty sure this one is legit, however I'm not sure it's correct (is this dial type correct for this serial range, for instance?).What can you guys tell me from these pictures? A little overpolished maybe?
